Should I cancel my ADR to be at Epcot Rope Drop?

Hi all -
My inlaws have graciously offered to allow DFi and I to spend most of the day together while they watch DS (2yrs). We booked a 9:40 ADR at Ohana ages ago and I'm really looking forward to it. However, this means we won't make rope drop at Epcot. This will be our 2nd day at Epcot, so we're more interested in shopping/entertainment etc. than rides etc.
Should we consider cancelling our ADR in favor of rope drop?
TIA

I wouldn't. Plan your FP+ for what you didn't get to do the first day or want to do again. Enjoy your breakfast and then enjoy your day!

Most of the shopping and entertainment is in World Showcase. It doesn't open until 11 so you'll be fine with your breakfast reservation.

Thanks for the replies. Do I need to worry about Epcot reaching capacity before we're able to get there?

When is your trip? Epcot hardly every goes to capacity and it is usually on New Years Eve when that happens.

If you will be there next week, crowds will be very heavy, but Epcot is unlikely to reach capacity. But look on the bright side _ all those crowds may muffle the chainsaw noise coming from the Canada Pavilion. ;)

I would go to 'Ohana and then to the WS. Epcot is going to be busy, I think, but if you are enjoying the Countries and not the attractions in FW, then you should still be okay.
