When I go to my shopping cart, I get a popup box that says the site's security certificate has expired. I'm leery of typing in my credit card info if it's not secure. Is my credit card info still safe? Should I call to order instead?

Is this a reputable company you are dealing with? If it's a well known company, I would take the chance - otherwise I would think twice.

Good luck

It's usually a glitch of some kind. If the url says https:// then you are on a secure site and everything is okay.

as long as the SSL "lock" is showing on the bottom right hand corner then you are ok. it simply means the company has not bothered to pay for their renewal on their site certificate yet. This info is coming from a BIG BIG BIG big wig in the IM department I work for. I had that same question about my bank.
