Or did I read on here somewhere that Rainforest Cafe doesn't take PS(except for the AKL location)??

If they do.............should I bother with it? It would be between 1pm-3pm on a weekday, early Sept.

If they don't............when is the best time of day to go for dessert?? We will be shopping in the afternoon at DTD and just want dessert.

What do you think??
Thanks for the replies.:sunny:

Rain Forest does take PS's, just not through Disney Dining. You'll need to call them directly.

The number for the DTD locaation is (407)939-2648

I went ahead and made a dinner PS for our first night in late September.
Most often times this restaurant has very long wait times without a PS.
I'd say go ahead and make one.....better safe than sorry right?
If your plans chnage later, you can always cancel it ::yes::

i would suspect between 1-3 p.m. on a sept weekday would not require a long wait, but, as previously stated, can't hurt.

also, depending on your party size, you could just go sit at the bar. they have the coolest stools on the planet. i believe you can order food there. we stop in on occasion just for a sheeba's jungle juice. i'm not a big fan of the food there, but love the atmosphere.

Is it OK for kids to sit at the bar? Normally I would not think of letting my DS sit at a bar, but the stools are SO cute!

Yes, kids can sit at the bar. There are also small tables in the bar area that are available to anyone......don't seem to be a part of the inner dining area in terms of being used for those waiting for a table. My DS8 and I sit at the bar most of the times to avoid the crowds and we enjoy it.

thanks for the info!! i was looking for someplace for dessert for our anniversary dinner on oct 21st. we are doing the backstage tour during the day and i wanted to end the night with a great dessert! the ban cheesecake will be right up dh alley!!

thanks again!
