Should I book with "game on" pin and hope for a better deal?

I've read a couple of posts criticizing the "game on" PIN as being not really worth it (about 10% off the package price). I've been e-mailed this PIN twice in two weeks. I'm thinking of booking Nov. 16-22 and waiting to see if there is a better public offer (free dining or room only) or I get a better PIN before my cancellation date on Oct. 2. Even if it's not great, isn't it better than nothing at that time of year? How likely is a public deal then? Thanks!

You can book now and then if a better discount becomes available, book again. I used a TA...great in my book, and she was constantly watching the specials, had my pins, etc.and changed my reservations accordingly. I did receive a lot of pins last year... and she was able to figure out what was best. I came home one day to an email from her telling me she had gotten a $500.00 gift card for my daughter's reservation.
I tell anyone who asks, book now, change as you need to. I also urge book with a TA who keeps on top of everything. All you have to do is forward your pin and they work the magic!

I used a game on pin DH rec'd to book our trip for Oct, while it was only 20%, there were no GP discounts released for Oct when I booked and since I wanted to stay at the Beach Club during F&W I figured I better just book and not wait.

Who is to say if anything will come out for your time and even if the % off is better you might not be able to book your resort of choice or sometimes you have to book a much higher priced room so the savings is more but your overall trip cost is higher
