Should I avoid MGM Star Wars Weekend? (5/16-18)

We will be in WDW from 5/16 to 5/20 .....it is Star Wars weekend. Should I wait & go to MGM on Monday, 5/19? Will this make MGM much more crowded on the weekend?

I'd definitely go to Star Wars Weekend. The park is more crowded, but the most of the crowds are centered over by Star Tours. The atmosphere is very festive and it's cool to see so many characters that aren't normally there.

YES! Of course you should go! And dress up like Chewie!!

Oh, wait, you were just tlaking about the park in general... Yeah, it should be more crowded around Star Tours, but it shouldn't be as bad at next year, when the final movie comes out. It'll be a little more crowded, and some of the fans are kinda weird (no one get upset, I'm talking about myself here...), but it shouldn't be too bad. Spend some time talking to a fan -- we can give you weird facts and details!

We were there 3 years ago for Star Wars weekend at the same time of year too. Crowds were not bad at all and they were by Star Tours. I don't think it is as crowded that weekend as it will be for Memorial Day and after. It was really fun and kinda cool..you will enjoy it!
