Should have booked 1 BR?

I'm having second thoughts about the BWV studio I booked March 31st-April 8th. Would it do any good to call MS in the am to check availiblity for a 1 BR at BWV for that week? We love BWV and don't want to change resorts. I just don't know if after driving 1200 miles to get to WDW if staying in a studio for 8 nights is going to be a good ideal.

Absolutely..if that is what you want! The worst they are going to tell you is there are none. If you have the points, you can also put in a wait list to stay in place up to 7 days prior.

Since you want to book something with more points than what you have, you can do that.

How many people are going? You might have an issue with availability, since you are about 60 days from check in.

There are 3 of us going...Myself, husband and son 9 yrs old. I'm sure the studio will be large enough, but we are used to the 1 BR. I will miss the W/D, jaccuzi tub, and I just don't like the ideal of someone having to sleep on a pull-out for 8 days

I am confused. The 1 bedrooms at BWV also have the pull out sofa so that wouldn't change by switching rooms.

Wow! Louisiana is bigger than I thought. I only drive 960 miles and I'm from as far away in Louisiana from FL as you can be. You must be going the LOONNNG way.

Right now my family and I are living in Oklahoma. My husband was transfered here b/c of the BP oil spill. We will be moving back home to Louisiana in July.

DH did fine sleeping on the sofe at our ALV studio in Dec. We usually get separate beds on vacation...share a king size at home. He is 5'8" and weighs about 260# and was fine....and yes, I offered to sleep on the pull out this time.

Our trip was 10 nights, 9 at AKV.

The pull outs at BWV have been replaced with the new style beds. They are more comfortable than most sofa beds and I'm sure you're DS will do fine.

I wish we were still in Lousiana. It's only an 11 1/2 hr trip. I'm not looking forward to the 20 hr trip to WDW in March from OKC , but I hate flying.
