Should CL_'s and Returning Winners be allowed in the Ride Competition? Have your Say

Should CL_'s and returning winners be allowed to compete in the ride competition? One, both, none, why? Perhaps just not allowed to win? Post your opinion and why

P.S. If you are a returning winner or CL please state your opinion, as there are few of you and many not CL/winners.

Of course! Why on earth would they not be allowed just because they are a leader? And people are allowed to win best guest, game, and quest more than once, why shouldn't they be able to win a ride competition?

Well this is individual and not a team so it will be harder to win. Or even build a great ride. So technically there are no winners from before as it was a team win not individual.

We all have our thing, some are good at making digital rides.

Previous winners should be allowed to compete as well. How could anyone feel proud of their creation if the best of the competitors were eliminated? It's like saying Tiger Woods should not be allowed to play in a golf competition because he already won it.

who are CL's. Everyone should be allowed to compete. Period.

Everyone should be allowed to enter this and every competition in vmk. If you start restricting who can & can not enter, you also start discriminating. I don't think discrimination is part of the vmk value system or Disney's for that matter. It should not be acceptable behavior in vmk. What would Walt Disney think about that?

Why shouldn't leaders not be allowed to compete?

Room building is one of my favorite things to do. I'd be miserable if I couldn't compete in this - I already build the rooms!

I really don't understand the point of this thread. Everyone knows that leaders are players just like everyone else. We aren't the judges of the rooms, we don't decide who can compete and who can't, and we cant ban people. All we do that is different from most players is that we help and answer questions - and every player can do that! This question is like a "Should Ranch be able to make a new, fabulous WDW ride, or is it not fair to other players?"

Once again, CL's have no extra priviledges when compared to regular players. I honestly cannot find a reason NOT to let them participate in an event. They are players just like all of you and should not be punished because they help others.

Well, being a returning winner... I mean, we didn't win the grand prize, but we were runners up. I don't really plan on competing, but my previous teammates do and they would be majorly bummed if they weren't allowed to compete.

I'm confused as to why CL's should be excluded.

Everyone should be able to enter. If VMK wants to choose new winners, it is up to them.
