Should Anyone else join Over Packers Annon.

I am a recovering Over Packer. I am not fully recovered yet because if there isn't a washing machine and dryer where I am going, I surcome to the temptation to put just one or two more things in the suitcase. I tackled the problem initially by buying a smaller suitcase. Good thing. The new 50 pound weight limit is creating some external controls for my problem. I am packed for my cruise. I am probably taking at least 4 outfits that I won't wear. ...but then, one never knows. I am bringing an extra carryon just in case I am over weight. I can't empty it out right there at check in. Anyone else have this "problem"?

oooh ooh oooh! can i join?!? i over pack for everything. even just going to the store! LOL i actually had to buy a smaller purse just so i would stop carrying so much stuff that i didnt need! i took so much with me on my trip to disney and i didnt even use half of it. LOL. i do the same thing when i go to ohio to visit my family. if there is the slightest chance i may need something... it goes.

If my son-in-law had access to this board he would sign up my DD in a heartbeat!!!

When they went to Disney World on their honeymoon for 10 days, aside from my DD's ENTIRE summer wardrobe, she also brought along 12 pairs of shoes!!

But here's the real kicker - she wore one pair of sandals the entire time! I thought sure the marriage was gonna be over before the honeymoon was.. Son-in-law was NOT a happy camper because of course he was the one dragging all the luggage around.. LOL

I don't know which is a worse addiction...over packing or over planning!!

I need to join also. I am so worried that I am seriously going to overpack for our cruise too... and with not much room in those cabins, where in the heck am I gonna put everything???

Because we are going in July and not only are we going on the cruise but we are taking a week to drive home after and stopping in various places, I'm gonna need this and I'm gonna need that and I don't want to do any laundry. Oh dear - am I in trouble!!!!

I overpack, if I go somewhere I take a lot of stuff and don't use half of it, but I still take it allthe next time

Recovering overpacker here I just got fed up with lugging everything on/off planes, in/out hotels and rental cars. Especially with Disney, I always come back with a lot more than what I took.
