With Disney's AS Roma deal and now Orlando City..... seems soccer may become a big thing to tie with the city and for visitors. In fact there is rumors they will sign The Brazilian Kaka to their team:

I'm just glad a place I spend time has a team. I basically drive to Chicago for games now. I just pray Atlanta, St. Louis or God Willing Nashville gets a team.

Being near Amway it's about a 10-15 min drive to the proposed stadium, right?

Negative. The stadium is going to be built 3 blocks from Amway. 1 block North and 2 blocks west.

I have no clue how my brain thought one thing and wrote another. I meant to say 10 to 15 from Disney Resorts area, not Amway. It's a walk from Arena to Stadium.

I'd say 25 minutes from the Epcot parking lot (that's what a measure everything around Disney in regards to). But that's assuming that I-4 isn't backed up anywhere.... and well that never happens.

They have yet to kick a ball in the league. I think it reeks of trying too hard on both of their accounts. Wait until you have some established tradition and let a rivalry naturally develop.

I hope the teams are successful but the MLS doesn't have a good track record in Florida and I think Orlando City will have some issues but they may prove me wrong.
