Shorter hours in October and November

Looks like Disneyland is closing starting at 10pm and dca closing 9pm during the week Monday-Thursday middle of October when we go.

Yes, I noticed that too! Maybe they are expecting slightly lower crowds for those 2 weeks or maybe it's just to save money? I don't remember them closing earlier in past years either. Usually October is much more crowded than September and they are closing at 11 every week night in September, so who knows? I hope it doesn't affect your plans too much!

I hope they increase the hours again when the holiday season starts. Those last two-three hours of the night after the fireworks are my favorite time, when the parks empty out and you can enjoy shorter wait times and just wandering. And I love 8 am opening, since there are far reduced crowds compared to an 9 am open. If they keep those hours, that would mean 8 fewer park hours available to us for a weekend visit in November as compared to this past weekend and those are the best hours.

I was actually just thinking during our visit this past weekend that if Disney offered two park tickets, one valid only from 8-10 am and 8 pm-11 pm and the other valid from say 11 am to 8 pm, I'd pick the shorter morning and evening over longer midday. With Maxpass gone, my observation over our last two visits is that we accomplish more in those 5 hours than the remaining 10 hours of the day.

They already reversed the 10pm/ 8 or 9pm closings for the first two weeks of October, I would not be surprised to see the hours change again.

Waiting on hours for Nov 7th and 8th, Sun and Mon. Right now we have DL scheduled for Sun, Nov 7th and DCA for the 8th. Disneyland will hopefully still have 8-11 for the hours since its a Sunday (crossing my fingers) but DCA on a Monday, oh man. I hope that doesn't end up being 9-8 pm like it shows for Nov 1st the previous Monday. We normally take a few hours break in the afternoon and return to our room but if those are the hours we won't be doing that. I'll take my break at the Wine bar thank you very much!

It looks like the default hours are shorter and they eventually go in and change them.
