If you have written any short stories, poems, or songs, post them here.
I'd love to read them all.
Or if you have fanfiction account or something, post some stories from there. :)

Here is a silly camp rock story I wrote yesterday. :P

Mitchie stirred awake and the shining light came in through her window blinds. A smile graced upon her face when she noticed it was time to get up. She sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes. She yawned twice and realized what it was.

    The last day of school.

Tomorrow, she is going to one of the greatest known camps of all time. Camp Rock. She couldn't wait. She jumped out of bed and ran to her closet.

"Hmm..what to wear.." Mitchie said to herself as she gently pulled a few things out. She pulled out an orange, three quarter length top, a greeenish/gray sweatshirt, dark skinny jeans, and brown moccasin type boots.

A small knock came from her door, a head peeked through.

"Hey Dad," Mitchie said as she was putting the hangers back into her closet.

"Hey Mitch, you excited for today?" Her dad asked as he put her breakfast down on her nightstand.

Mitchie's dad was dressed in a fancy business suit. He was a recording producer and manager. He worked alongside Keith Thomas.

"Of course. I've been waiting forever! High School is a draggg." She slurred on the last word. She hated high school.

Her dad laughed, "Well, I gotta go now. I'll see you tonight." He said as he shut her door.

Mitchie sighed. She barely ever got to see her dad. Her mom passed away when she was four. She wished she had a brother or someone to take care of her.

She got up from her bed and got changed. She looked in the mirror and picked up a compact, then, she put it down, "Umph, make up is useless." She said to herself. She put on her boots and went downstairs. She grabbed her bookbag, went outside, locked the door, then walked next door to her friend's house.

Her friend was already on her way over, so Mitchie just turned around.

    "Hey Alyson."

"Hey Mitchie, are you excited for tomorrow?"

"Heck yeah, especially because your coming with me." She said excited. Her dad got the 'hook-up' and got Alyson into the camp too.

"Yeah. I'm really glad for that. Thank your dad for me." She said, smiling.

"He said it was no problem. Your his favorite out of my friends." She laughed a little bit.

Suddenly Alyson's smile dropped, "What's wrong? Mitchie asked, concerned.

"I'm not gonna see Nate for two months!"

"You need to have time away from eachother, gosh! You guys spend like 200 hours out of the week together!"

"Mitchie..theres only 168 hours in a week.." She said, looking confused.

"MY. POINT. You guys spend every single freaking minute together."

Changing the subject, "Anyway, when are you gonna tell Shane you like him?"

"Where the heck did that come from? And..never." She said, looking down.

    "Why not? You guys are--"

"HEY GUYS!" Shanae said, running up to them, out of breath.

"Woah, dude, in a rush much?" Mitchie said, sarcastically.

"Haha, funny. Anna's dog was about to EAT me." She said strugging, trying to catch her breath.

"Eat you?" Mitchie said, acting all serious.

Shanae put her hands on Mitchie's shoulders, "EAT. ME."

ROUF. ROUFF. ROUFF. Anna's dog came running like it was his JOB.

"GUYS, RUN!" Shanae screamed at the top of her lungs and they all started running as fast as possible.

When they finally reached the school after almost being attacked, they were at their lockers gatering their stuff for homeroom. They all had the same homeroom, and they all had top lockers next to eachother.

When they all got their stuff, they walked to homeroom and sat down. Their seats we're in the back, it was pretty much soundproff back there. You could shoot a gun and nobody could hear.

    "Where's Anna today?" Alyson asked.

"Sick. She got strep throat." Shanae, making gagging sounds. She hated sick people and their..sickiness..

"Hah, Shane alert." Alyson said to Mitchie, turning around.

Mitchie's eye's automatically got locked with his. He stopped where he was just to look at her.

    Man, she's gorgeous.

Shane thought. All of his friends thought she was a suck up nerd with no life. She wasn't. Shane knew that. Shane had a HUGE crush on her. It was so pathetic that he would dream about her and write her name all over his binder. One time his brother, Nate, saw he was drawing Mitchie's name everywhere and he told Alyson. So Nate and Alyson both know Mitchie and Shane like eachother. But they promised not to tell.

Alyson suddenly felt something hit her head, she looked on her desk and there was a paper with Nate's name on it.

Look at the way their looking at eachother! WE NEED TO TELL THEM.

    She smiled and wrote back..

Lets do it during lunch. It's the last day of school and they are not gonna see eachother for two months!

    He looked up and smirked.

Oh, your wrong. Shane is going to Camp Rock with you guys, too. He's only going because of Mitchie, though.

    Her eyes got bigger.

A: REALLY? Dude, that guys in love. Why arent you going to camp?

N: You had to sign up at school last year, and I was sick that week, so I couldn't turn in the form. Remember?

A: Oh yeah, gosh darnet. Well, I'll miss you. :(

    N: I'll miss you too.

    A: So, at lunch?

    N: At lunch.

Class ended. It was lunch time. Nate and Alyson were in the supply closet making up a plan. They are now in the cafeteria.

"Hey Shane, how about we sit with Alyson and Mitchie today?" Nate asked his brother.

"I can't, dude. You know how my friends feel about Mitchie."

"Shane, it's the last day of school, please!" Nate begged.

"Fine. I'll just tell my friends I'l see them in TWO MONTHS." Shane said, sarcastically.

"Yes! Come on!" Nate said, grabbing Shane's arm. They approached the table Mitchie, Shanae, and Alyson were at.

"Can we join you?" Nate asked, politely. Then he winked at Alyson.

    "Of course." Alyson winked back.

Shane sat down opposite of Mitchie, she was shocked.

    Why is he sitting here?

"Okay, this is gonna be a stupid question, but do you guys wanna play truth or dare?" Nate asked.

Mitchie and Shane started laughing at the same time, then..awkward silence.

    "Sure." Everyone said in unison.

"Oh, can I go first?" Mitchie asked, cheerfully.

    "Sure." Nate said.

    "Alyson, truth or dare?"

"Truth. Your dares are always bad!"

Mitchie scoffed sarcastically. "Have you ever kissed Nate yet?"

Alyson started blushing, and rolled her eyes around to Nate. "Not yet."

    "Yet?" Mitchie asked, laughing.

"Yet!" Nate said. He grabbed Alyson face and pecked her lips. Then Alyson started blushing really hard.

    "Whoo!" Shanae screamed.

"Shane, truth or dare?" Alyson asked.

    "Dare." He said.

    "Hmm..I dare you too..kiss Mitchie."

Mitchie AND Shane's eyes went HUGE.

"HAH! YOU GUYS HAVE TO KISS!" Shanae burst out.

Mitchie started to glare at Shanae.

    "Eh. Here goes nothing."

He started inching toward Mitchie then he whispered something really quietly, "Turn your head when I'm near your lips. So ill just get your cheek."

When he was about a centimeter away from her lips, she turned her head and he kissed her cheek.

"Haha, you never said where!" Mitchie started laughing.

"Darnet. I forgot that part.." Alyson said, looking at Nate.

I've written a ton of them for English, and I guess they were good because the lowest I have ever gotten was 85%, but I don't have them anymore.

i have given you life's lessons for what you need to grow.
i've opened up the doors for you. take with you what you know.

chances appear & decisions need to be made.
you're on your own now. remember the lessons i bade.

off into your own world; i can only stand aside.
you need to take the reins of life's wilest ride.

so choose a door, and remember when it closes.
    remember, remember.

    I didn't shed a tear

When I figured I liked him
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I saw him with other girls
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I had to sit with him
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I saw my friend kiss him
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I heard he was moving
    I didn't she a tear.
    When I started missing him
    I didn't shed a tear.
    When I thought about him
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I told him my secrets
    I didn't shed a tear.
When I saw him at school the next day
    I actually shed a tear.

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

    Roses are red
    Violets are blue
This old rhyme has something new
This is a story of a guy and a girl
Who thought they’d give love a whirl
For over a month he had planned
And finally he asked her for her hand
    It was on Valentines day
And he did it in a special way
He had written a poem that went like this:
    ‘Roses are red
    Violets are blue
I’m asking you to marry me
    Will you say I do?’
    She started to cry
And wiped a tear from her eye
    As she nodded her head
I love you is what she said
After their marriage years went by
    And soon they were 75
Still in love he passed away
And in his casket he lay
    As his widow recites:
    Roses are red
    Violets are blue
That’s how you asked me to marry you.
I’ll never forget that Valentine’s day
When you asked me to marry you in that special way.
I’ll go on living my life
Telling everybody I was your wife.
(i wrote that for an 8th grade poetry contest)

A short story I wrote for English about a guy who loses his phone at Disneyland.

"My Disconnection Is Now The Issue”
School is definitely not one of my favorite past times. So when my brother offered to take me to Disneyland instead, I jumped at the chance. I think anyone would have, because a talking mouse is not nearly as scary as a screaming gym teacher. Plus, it’s not even like we had to drive very far. We live in Anaheim. It only took us five minutes to get there.

Brandon thought going to Disneyland would be a good bonding experience for us. In his eyes, we weren’t close enough. I don’t know what about this place he assumed would improve our relationship. I had no desire whatsoever to hang out with him all day. I mean, who would want to spend the whole day with their know-it-all older brother? No one, that’s who. There was no way I was going to stay with him.

When we got into the park, I walked off. Brandon stared after me. He had this look on his face like I had ruined his entire day. Even though I knew I didn’t want to spend the day with him, the look on his face made me want to turn around and hug him. Yet at the same time, the fact that he wasn’t making any attempts to chase after me made me want to really ruin his day. I just turned my back and didn’t look back.

My mind was wandering until my pocket started vibrating. Brandon was calling me. I weighed my options. I could answer it and get screamed at, or ignore it and get killed. Or I could pretend I never heard it. He probably wouldn’t believe the last one and I wasn’t in a very a suicidal mood. So, I picked up.

“What is your problem, Kevin?!?! You’re 15. I am your legal guardian. You can’t just walk off on me. Where are you?” I almost didn’t hang up. I almost told him where I was. Except then he opened his stupid mouth again.
“Kevin Baker! Tell me where you are!” So instead, I told Brandon where to go (if you know what I mean).

I went on a couple of rides to kill the time before I could go home and sleep. Before I knew it, it was noon and I was hungry. I only had two quarters and a dime, so I couldn’t buy any food. I decided to call Brandon. He would have money for food. I reached into me pocket to get my phone out.

My phone wasn’t in my pocket! I was sure that Brandon was going to kill me. He did not take lightly to things like this. He would blame me for being irresponsible or figure out some way to discipline me. I knew that I had to come up with an idea. I needed a really good one. And I needed it fast.

I was convinced that there had to be some way to get my phone back. My first thought was the lost-and-found. I sprinted there like my life depended on it. When I got into the building, I saw a smiling old lady with white hair sitting behind a desk. She had on a nametag that said “Ethel”. She looked like the type of lady who would bake me cookies. I knew she’d be easy to talk to.

“Did you lose something?” She had an adorable southern accent that made me want to let her retire and play shuffleboard.
“Yeah! My phone! I had it earlier, but it just disappeared!”
She looked in the box sitting in front of her and then at me. “There are four phones in here. Can you describe what your phone looked like?”
“It’s an ugly silver flip-phone with drawing all over it in black Sharpie. It also says ‘Kevin’ on the back in green.”
She got a solemn look on her face. “Sorry, honey. None of these fit your description.”
    “Okay. Thank you.”

At this point, most people would be defeated. Not me, though. I’m a little hardheaded. I reached into my pocket to make sure that I really did lose my phone and felt some cold metal. I pulled one of the quarters out of my pocket. I could use a pay phone! Now all I had to do was find one. I wandered aimlessly for about an hour. When I finally found one, I screamed out of pure joy. I shoved in my quarter and waited. After what seemed like hours, a pompous sounding man picked up.

“Hi. I’m Kevin Baker. I lost me phone. You’re actually talking to me on it.”
“Hi, Kevin.” The man sounded bored already.
“I kind of need that phone.”
“I’ll tell you what I’ll do for ya, Kevin. I’ll leave the phone right here.”
    I was getting excited. “Where?”

My answer was a dial tone. I had two options; I could either call my brother and own up to losing my phone, or retrace my steps. I chose to retrace my steps. It didn’t occur to me until I was almost back to the front gate if the park that I could just go to where the music in the background of the call was coming from. It was the music from New Orleans Square. My phone had to be there. I went there as fast as I could.

I couldn’t find it anywhere. It wasn’t on the ground. It wasn’t on any benches. It wasn’t on any planters. I thought I’d never see it again. Honestly, I was scared. And I did not have any clue what to do next.

    “Looking for this?”
I looked up and saw my phone dangling in front of my face. I turned around and realized I was looking at Brandon.
    “Where’d you find…uh… I mean…how’d you get my phone?”
“Some guy handed it to me and told me a kid was looking for it. He was in no mood to deal with that kid.”
I laughed. “He didn’t seem all that pleased when I called my phone.”
“The moral of this story is that ditching me gets me angry. Angry enough to steal your phone and make a weird voice all to teach you a lesson.”
    “I hate you.”
    “I love you.”
I looked at Brandon for a little while and sighed. “I’m hungry. Let’s go get some food.”
“No thanks,” Brandon said flatly. “I just ate.”

OMG I love it! It reminds me a little of a song called "Father and Son" I heard once. I'm not saying I think you borrowed the idea or something, just that both are about a silmilar sort of thing. Gah, who's that song by again? Umm, oh yeah, boyzone xD.
