wow, can't believe the time has gone so fast!! maybe it's because I'm older - enjoying life more but every trip just gets better and better! sigh.....

ok, so it's 7:30am and we grab a CS breakfast from Roaring Forks. yes, even though it's being rehabbed, hot tasty food is available - I had the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was A+ ! hot, flaky and extremely tasty..

we went the express check-out route and not ONE mistake on the bill! it was perfect :yay: we left our bags with valet service and after a 10 minute wait ( just missed one) caught a bus to Epcot.. of course we are going home today so it is 70 degrees.. :rotfl2: figures!

yes, Test Track is open and we got on at 9:15am with no wait..it was fantastic! A++ ...grabbed a fastpass in case we had time to zoom zoom again. now, I've read alot of reports here about people getting sick on Mission Space but I decided to be brave ( my bf wouldn't go without me and I didn't want to do that to him)...it was definitely a different experience. my favorite part was blast-off which contorts your face skin into an amazing mask.. :rotfl: I was abit queasy when we "landed" but that subsided in a few minutes...I rated it A++

we leisurely strolled toward the boat docks and grabbed an outside seat for our brief ride to Germany..what a beautiful day!! we land and can you guess what time it is? :rotfl2: yup, my bf is hungry, again! so back to Liberty Inn for his standard double cheeseburger ( all American - my guy)! which was delicious as usual..A++

we proceeded to stroll through the countries and here, I warn you, my story gets a bit graphic......

PIN COLLECTING !!!!! is addictive!! I had seen a limited edition pin which I liked because of our puppy...now mind you, I had seen it 2 days earlier in AK...did I buy it then? noooo, thought it was waay too much moolah! ha! so I dragged (literally) my bf through all the countries trying to find this one pin! in our journey, we did manage to find others we just couldn't live without - is it something in the Disney water??!! :lmao: it took a while and tons of walking but we finally found the elusive pin ( about $100 later) ...remind me not to indulge in that activity again! besides having to listen to my daughter tell me what a dork I am, where am I going to put them??? new dilemma for a different day..

our LAST ADR... :sad2: for 2pm at Le Cellier in Canada.. we arrived 18 minutes early and were seated in 1 !
our server was Dave ( who says his Dad is on these boards) and we rated him A+ - seriously funny sense of humor!
for appetizers, we had shrimp cocktail with wasabi sauce ( awesome)! and the beef kabob - A+++ my bf just wished there were 10 of them on the plate! melt in your mouth delight.. for the main dish I had the grilled petite fillet - A+ and he had the open face sliced filet beef sandwich , also A+ very very tender ...we splurged and shared a Happiest Celebration Chocolate Whiskey Cake ( whew)! especially since we knew we had 2 hours in the airport, then an almost 3 hour flight (JetBlue) and home to lovely cold New York! and what made Dave so great? besides being an excellent server, he wrapped up ( in a funky tinfoil thingamajig) extra pretzel bread for us for the plane !!

so we say goodbye to Epcot and head back to WL to relax before we get whisked away.. almost fell asleep in the lobby ( lunch - ya think?!) but hey, shopping perked me right up again! the CM at the Mercantile was extremely helpful in pointing out that if I could find AND tally all my receipts - yes, I could buy another canvas Disney bag for $10! ha! a diligent effort and viola, I now have more Disney "stuff" to carry home ( but hey, where was I supposed to put all those pins??!!) :teeth:

SUNRAY and Roger were on time ( actually early) and impeccable as usual. I give him AND the company an AAA++++....wouldn't even dream of using anyone else! we part at the airport and breeze through security...our flight was delayed 35 minutes and you know what that's like when you're in the "going home" mode!

easy flight - no problems, I called VISTA parking in Newark as we taxied...remember, we only had carry-ons. walked out the terminal and a nice warm van was waiting to take us to our car ( clean of any snow and warmed up)! excellent service for much less than to park in the airports parking...

and home we are....always a nice feeling

a few brief observations - like I said, maybe it's that whole "older -wiser" thing, maybe not.. our trip was "magical" from beginning to end...and in part, I have to thank all of you. why? because thanks to these boards I found advice on parking, resort layouts, dining options, what to see in what parks, what was closed, what was horrible, what was great! I didn't plan every minute of every day BUT I did have a rough layout and I want to thank ALL OF YOU - from the bottom of my heart - for helping to make this vacation "magical" .. :wave2:

Great report :thumbsup2

I've really enjoyed reading all of them ~ Thanx for sharing.

Sounds like a perfect last day to your trip! I agree with you about the pin trading. It can get very addicting and costly. I had one trip when I was really bad, but I remind myself that they are in a bag in my closet when I have the urge to buy more. LOL.

Thanks for posting!
