I am booked on the 9 day Greece in June. It seems alot of port excursions are being cancelled for the Caribbean. Do you think it is going to be a waste to do Greece. I shelled out alot of money and to have all sea days I'd rather do it in the US. Plus the Covid test you have to take if you test positive I will be stuck in Italy. I was all for this cruise now I am getting nervous about doing it.

Just to say we did a Greek cruise last summer (yes pandemic and all). All ports were open and it was actually an amazing experience. I would be very surprised if Greece was closing ports in the same way that the Caribbean is. Remember they are all different countries which is why the rules are so messy. Greek has one set of rules so most of the ports would be covered by those rules.

The risk of testing positive abroad is a real one and something really only you can decide on whether you are comfortable with. We are travelling to Barbados in a few weeks and have to test before we travel and then to get on the ship. Honestly its giving me all sorts of headaches the stress on this one but unfortunately it is what it is. Travelling during COVID is always going to have its risks and we have to just hope that things work out.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. Makes me feel a little better. We have had all our shots plus the booster so that is good now we have to do Disneys test. Quick question when we sign up for Safelite(not sure of the name) do we have to get a picture done to upload to them. I am so confused as to how to check in etc when the time comes

Sorry I have yet to travel with Disney since last summer in Europe (a UK Staycation) so I know the site is different. We needed a photo of passport and a picture of ourselves but I can't remember which was for where, as well as a photo or file of our vaccine certificate.

DCL requires your passport photo page and a pic of you from shoulders up for ID....like the one they used to take at the port.

I believe for Safe Passage we just uploaded our vaccine info. But don't worry....the check in process will tell you what you need and Safe Passage is very easy to work with. We wound up contacting them a few times as my husband was using the 90 day Covid recovered exemption and I wanted clarification on documentation. They responded via email quickly and efficiently.

Safe Passage does not get done until 15 days before your cruise. It helped me to have screen shots of my passport page, my ID pic and my vaccine card. I then just uploaded them from my phone when I did the DCL check in and the Safe Passage check in. I found it easier this time to do it on my phone than desktop.
