Shopping ?

We will be staying close by The Fort on Dec 26th in Clermont. I have to have my day after Christmas shopping fix. I need a Sam's Club and a Wal-Mart. Where are the closest ones ? Are there other Florida stores I should visit? Is there a mall close by ?

Being I was just past there the day afore yesterday I can asure you that there is plenty of shopping around there. I know that for sure there is a Walmat within a mile or so of your location, plenty of Publix stores they are even building a new one. I bet I saw at least 6 Publix between the fort and where we store the TT on rt 27 in Clermont which is 18 miles.

I know I saw a Ross and many other stores that any self respecting guy would never set foot in, so I would say you will get your fix, Frank can fish

I don't remember seeing any Sams but I am sure one has to be tucked in there somewhere.

Go south on 27 from Thousand Trails. Wal-Mart is about one mile away on the left.

IIRC, the closest Sam's is the one on US 192 (W Irlo Bronson Hwy), about 2 miles west of 535, also on the left. This is the one next to the crappy KOA. It will take you about 30 minutes to get there from where you're staying. Take US 27 south to US Hwy 192. It will be about 14-15 miles on the left. (give or take a mile).

If you go to Sam's, you will pass a brand new Super Target on US Hwy 192 E. It will be on your right just past the toll road overpass.
