Lottie turns 7 while we're out there, her party is the day after we get back (yes, I am THAT crazy!), and I've promised her a new dress. Is there anywhere localish that sells nice girls dresses. She's a big 7, needs age 9 girls clothes in the UK. TIA xx

You will probably find one in Val d'Europe (one stop on the RER). The Auchan (large hypermarket ) there has a clothes section and there are other shops in the shopping centre

I'm sure Val d'Europe will have some fab clothing for children (I'm sure Carrie will be able to help with this?).

Here is their website - in french tho!

Would she not like a Disney dress for her birthday - maybe a Princess one? That would be lovely for her birthday if she is into that kind of thing :cloud9:.

She would love a Princess dress, but she has most of them already lol! She's having a disco for her birthday, so wants something that she can dance in. Not fussy or demanding at all!!

Thank you all for the info - I knew you lot would know the answer! Will give her the option of something from the park or something else :)

Only 2 weeks and 4 days - eeeeeeek! I have SO much packing to do lol!

Have a look through the sites above as you have the styles that they sell and the prices.

She could well be into older age sizes in France as French children are in general smaller in height and smaller boned than British ones.

It's the same for womens clothing as it's often narrower in the upper body/shoulders than in the UK :)

You know, they will probably have some great Disney clothes in the Disney clothing store in the Village - disco type stuff for youngsters as well as more 'pretty' type stuff.

I love catimini clothing for girls - pricey though (so if you can get a bargain, great!).

I'd love to visit Val d'Europe but we always seem to run out of time on our DLRP trips. This is why I keep telling DH we need to do a proper French summer holiday in the area so that we can do Paris and other bits like shopping - he's not convinced though :rotfl2:.

How exciting for Lottie - she is a lucky girl!

PS - Agree French sizing so tiny, especially for children so make sure you try on (either in store or at hotel) and can take back if no good!
