Where does one begin............ :teeth:

You've got your upscale ~ Yorkville Area, no bargoons from what I'm hearin'

You've got your Shopping Malls ~ Eaton Centre, Yorkdale, Sherway ~ sometimes a bargoon but no guarantees

You have got your Department Stores ~ Sears, Winners etc., no guarantees there also

Then you have your fun shopping ~ Kensington Market, Spadina, Queen Street and of course, Yonge Street!

Have Fun!

Prices vary depending on where you shop and whether you're able to catch a sale. I think some stores are still clearing out some of their Spring clothing so there maybe some good deals left.

In terms of stores, we have most of the same stores as the US --- Gap, Williams Sonoma, Sephora, Banana Republic, Club Monaco, H&M, Sears etc. We don't have Saks or Neiman Marcus, our equivalent would be Holt Renfrew.

Don't worry too much about the sales tax of 15%, I believe there's a program in place that will rebate part of the tax to you as long as you spend a certain amount of money. This link will give you information on rebates for the GST (7% federal) http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tax/nonresidents/visitors/faqs-e.html . I believe there is a tax rebate program for the provincial sales tax but I couldn't find any information on it.

Happy shopping :)
