Shopping In Kitchener?

What is the new large plazza like? Is it called Sunrize? A Walmart? What else.
I was to be going to Buffalo tomorrow. But the snow is coming. Kitchener is closer. Going with my sister inlaw. NO KIDS We LOVE Scrapbooking too. Anything close by?

Yep- there is a Walmat, Old Navy, Linens & Things, Fairweather, lot's of other stores. It's at the intersection of FISCHER-HALLMAN road and OTTAWA Street; off of Highway 7/8 (the expressway) at Fischer-Hallman. PM me if you want more details

Where are you coming from? There is a scrapbooking store that my sister always goes to on Pioneer Drive. If coming the 401 exit at Homer Watson come in towards Kitchener past the college until you see Pioneer Drive...turn left and there is a plaza and the store is located there. Can't remember the name scrapbooking something but she says it is really good!.

From there you would just get back on to Homer Watson until you see Ottawa ST, continue up Ottawa all the way to Sunrise Center.

"The Scrapping Bug" is the name of the best scrapbooking store locally. It is the one described by the other poster. Just down the road from the Sunrise Centre is the Laurentian Power Centre (Ottawa street, just past Strasburg) and it is perhaps 5 min away. It has a big Zellers, Home Outfitters, huge market Zehrs and Rona. I'm not sure of any smaller stores. Oh, you would turn right onto Pioneer drive from Homer Watson if coming from the 401. It is in the bottom level of the Tall Pines Medical Centre. Turning left will take you to DQ and Tim's.

From Paris go up 24A (Pinehurst Road) and turn left at the little grey house (the Ayr ponds) Turn right just past the ponds and follow this road til it ends. At the end turn left and go over the 401 to Roseville. At Roseville turn right onto Fisher Hallman. That is the best way to get where you are going.

Hi. We just got back, snow and all. We had a great time. .NO KIDS. I think that everyone stayed home today. We got alot done at Walmart and Zellers(They were both quiet stores) Now just waiting for the big christmas paycheck from DH, and we will be ALL DONE our shopping.
