Shopping help please!

I don't know if this is appropriate for the DVC Board, but you guys seem to know everything so here goes. When we were at WDW last week, a friend (non-DVC, poor thing) who is a real Disney fan was down too. Now that we are home we have been Emailing about post-WDW depression. She is upset that she missed the opportunity to power-shop, one of her favorite activities. They simply ran out of time!

I spoke to her dh today, and he is trying to figure out a way to mail order the items Marla wanted. I told him I would try to get the scoop here. Isn't there a 1-800 number to call and shop? Is this just the stuff at Downtown Disney or can you call any store at WDW? The main item she wanted was a type of charm that attaches to something called a "nomination bracelet." Evidently some store on Main Street has them but Marla missed it. Any info you all might have about shopping in general, or these charms in particular, would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem after we came back home too. On the Disney Tips board I posted a message and someone gave me this merchandise phone number: 1-407-363-6200.

I havent tried it yet, but they said that it was very helpful to purchase park items after returning home.

After our trip to VWL in December, I kicked myself for not purchasing a CD that was in the shop there. So, I called the store and was advised to call another number for Disney merchandise ordering. They were SO helpful. They contacted WL to get the skew number off the CD I wanted, then called me back to let me know the price with shipping. Received the item in a few days.
