Shopping from AKL

It's been a while since we stayed at AKL. Last time we stayed there I remember making a right turn when we pulled out of the resort and taking that road to a busy road with a lot of stores and restaurants. Does anyone know the name of that road? Is there a good place to go food shopping there? Trying to plan ahead for our trip in two weeks. Thanks.

If you turn right at the light by AK you hit us 192 which has lots stores, restaurants etc.

You can also go up to western way and go over to Flamingo Creek where they have recently built up with hotels and stores like Target.

It's Sherberth rd. Just watch your timing, it's kind of a mess in the late afternoon, especially leaving Disney property because there are lots of Disney office buildings on that road. We love it though, if you take it *almost* to 192 and then turn right on Black Lake Rd (before you pass the CVS), you will end up right by a Target shopping center.

What if you do not have a car? Is there any way to reach all the shopping,Publix supermarket etc near 192 if you are walking from Jambo House area?

No, sorry, it’s not walkable. If you don’t have a car, then rideshare or taxi are the options.
