Hi!
I just bought a discounted Sears gift card and planned
to buy an Ipod for my wife. But i heard that Sears will offer discount
on all products this weekend(Saturday).

From those who often shop at Sears, do you think it is true?
(If it is true, i can wait till Saturday....even though i can't wait to buy it from the bottom of my heart!!)

Terence
p.s. I checked out Sears website , dont see any discount on Ipod on the flyer

Are you thinking of the offer where you spend $1500 or more on your Sears card or Sears MasterCard before taxes between Nov 24-Dec 24 (excluding major appliances, furniture, sleep sets, installed prods and gift cards) and then you can buy a 2GG iPod nano for 169.99 (Sears reg.) and mail in for a $70 rebate?

No...i basically want to know if Sears will have discount on product this Saturday.

Imagine if i can't wait and ended up buying the electronic product Ipod today. And ... by this Saturday, Sears really end up having all products discounted. That would be too bad that i missed out the discount.

Sears weekly flyer comes out on fridays, check then. They had super saturday last week, Im not sure if they do that every week during the holidays.

If you buy a product and it then goes on sale, most reputable retailers will give you back the difference.Or, you could buy itand if it goes on sale, return it and get the sale price.

I worked at Sears about 4 years ago and the policy was that if you purchased a product up to 14 days before a sale, you would be credited the difference if you brought in your receipt. I'm sure it hasn't changed, so go ahead and buy what you have your eye on before the new sales start on Saturday, and just take your receipt in within 2 weeks to receive your credit. You can always confirm the policy with a cashier before you buy.

the policy hasn't changed..a friend bought a wallet and they told her she can get a price adjustment within 2 weeks..

It's been my experience that you should always shop at Sears on a weekend, because whatever you see during the week will most likely be on sale that weekend.

We went during the week looking at kitchen utensils, then went back on a Saturday and everything was 20% off...

Just a thought...

I belive Sears had a $99.00 ipod nano mail in rebate offer in the flyer this weekend!

the catch is you have charge 1500.00 to your sears card.

I didn't read the fine print, just remember seeing it! Not such a good deal after all!

Thank you kindly for all your replies. :goodvibes

We ended up buying the Ipod Nano at Best Buy which offers 10% discount online on the weekend. :woohoo:
