Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

The spa...how nice! That reminds me. My DH got me a gift certificate for a massage for Mother's Day that I have yet to use. I think I'll have to plan that for the week I leave!

This morning's coversation with Belle.

Belle: Mommy, Where's GoGo?
Me: He's at Disney. Remember mommy and daddy are going to see GoGo in a few days.
Belle: GoGo, Bella Flys!
Me: You want me to tell Mickey that Tinkerbell can fly?
Belle: (Nods head yes.)
Me: Anything else you want me to tell Mickey?
Belle: Where's Nana? (Nana is my mother.)
Me: You want me to ask Mickey where Nana is?
Belle: Nods head and says 'Yes!'

So when I meet Mickey, I've got two things to say for sure.

I'm 3 days away! The weather is looking okay. There are a few days on rain in the forecast, but it changes so much each day, so I'm just going to believe it when I see it.

G is finally getting excited! He's got alot to accomplish in the next three days, so I'm hoping he gets through them and takes time out to rest. I don't want him to be too cranky to enjoy this trip.

Today is my pre-trip beauty regiment day. I am working until noon and then hitting the spa. (Please don't think I am that Divalicious! Our Pastor's wife gave all of the female staff a gift certificate to the spa for Christmas.)

I'm the least divaish person you know and I'm indulging in a spa day at Disney LOL!! So go have fun relax and enjoy being pampered..you deserve it...speaking of which I need to make my hair appointment this morning.

Belle is too cute for words...that is so awesome...now make sure you write down all the answers you get so you can tell her word for word what "GoGo" says!!!!

Well, I had to work this morning, then to the spa and I took Belle out to eat after that. We had pasta and now we are both about to crash for a bit. I think I'll pack a little tonight and completely pack tommorow when my brain is recharged.

just found your ptr ... only on page 18 er so but loving it so far. since you leave shortly i will catch up and be ready for the return report.

im in shreveport too. we are heading to disney the last week of april. i was going to start a ptr next week, but we'll see how that goes.

How in the world did your TR disappear off my list?!!? I was many, many updates behind. But, now I'm all caught up.

First, glad I was able to help tide you over until your trip with pics of the WL and stories with my DS.

I LOVED yours lists, very cute. And your Christmas looked like a lot of fun, beautiful pictures capturing the memories.

You are NOT a bad parent, but I totally understand the Mommy guilt. It's a killer isn't it?! Very soon will be Belle's turn, right now it's Mommy and Daddy's! ENJOY IT, it's just around the corner!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I forgot to say - we have the same sock monkey ornament!

Soleil, I hope you and G have a WONDERFUL trip! It would be so awesome to experience Disney with just my hubby. My gosh, we're so used to running on high gear there, we'd probably be able to finish everything so quickly we would actually be able to...dare I say it...RELAX at Disney! What a concept!

I can't believe we are going in 2 days! (And you are just right behind us.) You might not even have your Trip Report done before you are heading back again.

I REALLY hope to have my TR done before we go so I don't have to manage two TRs. I know as soon as I get back I will want to work on our new one, so the old one would get left hanging - or be completed in a total rush. I just got done with our MK day, now just Epcot and our departure day left...and souvie pictures and final thoughts of course!

Henry has been "expressing his will" this morning....it's been an interesting day so far! But, he is grateful for the hug from his friend Belle, and hugs her right back!

I forgot to add on my previous post, her little new Uggs are ADORABLE. So, so sweet. And good for her on picking out the Mickey Crocs, she's so smart!

We have a busy couple days coming up, so if I'm not back on the DIS to see you off, have a magical trip - I can't wait to read all about it when you get back!

I wish we would be in Disney tomorrow! We've still got until Saturday. Packing is going pretty well! Man, it's a chore packing to go to Orlando at 'winter-time'. Trying to get all the layers together is taking a long time.
