I have two more to do, I decided against the pharmasave this weekend, I don't like to spend so much for limited AM when their stuff is more than I would spend elsewhere. So I got a few things from Old Navy online, the receipt offer and a redemption. I will go to Shell this coming week and decide on another online order or pharmasave for just $10. We'll see. I could go to Global but they don't sell the food I feed my dog and the cats actually prefer the food I get at petsmart. Which I could do instead as the other online order. I'm tired of winter and it's only just begun!

I am tempted to drive out to Pharmasave this afternoon for the offer but not sure if I want to waste time and gas only to get disappointed again. I miss Rexall lol.

I did the Pharmasave offer today. My soccer league is collecting for our local women's shelter during our Christmas tournament next weekend, and they had some great deals on for body lotion, personal items, etc. It was an easy $30/60 miles to complete for a good cause.

DH's STB is now done. This week I will focus on my card.

I only did the $10 at Pharmasave. They have some boxed shortbread cookies, and it’s a good brand, for only $3.99. Bought two of those and a can of mixed nuts for $2.49. Did that combo twice…one for each card. I have 4 friends at work that I exchange little gifts with every year, so that’s going to be the cookies and DH will enjoy the nuts.

Happy to report my Walmart miles posted so now I just have 1 more shop to do somewhere. I will try the lottery kiosk at Sobeys but somehow my Mastercard never shows that it is linked to my account so I will link it, then run to store.
I also got a bonus item from Walmart as I had ordered 2 of 1 item and 2 of another and lo and behold I got 3 of one item. Guess they stuck together and nobody noticed.

TBH, the woman that is usually working the cash makes me feel judged for my two $10 purchases EVERY TIME. The store itself, I find it hard to find things I need/want. They don’t have the majority of what’s in the flyer. When they do have something, there might be one on the shelf when I want several of them but I would have to ask the cash lady and that’s not going to happen.

LOL…every time I’m there the same man is standing at the pharmacist’s counter having a social chit chat. He’s hard to miss…at least 6’5”, skinny as a stick, heavy accent and loud voice.

Finally done! I went to Shell for gas and a gift card in store, and picked up a couple chocolate bars for kiddos stocking. I guess the gift cards AM come later. I did an amazon purchase as well but I am never sure those will work so wanted to make sure and get Shell done. I am glad to know the bonus is supposed to post before I go to Disney so I should be able to get some more disney GC's towards that.

Just hoping to get some suggestions for my 5th qualifier from anyone that may be able to help (I have read the terms several times and am still unsure as to what definitely counts.) Really wanting to spend as little as possible. I'm assuming if my airmileshops.ca pick up in store Michaels last week has not posted after 7 days - it probably won't be posting? And gift card purchases through Shell do not count, correct?
This is what I have so far:
-10 L of premium gas @ Shell (already posted)
-receipt scan (already posted)
-$10 spend @ Pharmasave
-redemption of cash rewards for an evoucher (I actually want to redeem for 2 different e vouchers but will it only count once?)
Also wondering if the travel contest entry for 20 miles would count even if I already did the voucher redemption? And if I find a lottery terminal if I have to use a BMO card? (don't have one)
Any suggestions to get the most "bang for my buck" would be greatly appreciated,

I’ve never purchased gift cards at the Shell gas station, but want to get some for gifts. How long does it usually take for the miles to get posted after purchase? Thanks

When I buy gift cards at Shell I usually get the 30 bonus airmiles immediately up to 1-2 days.

Michaels online via Airmiles shop and then pick up in store for $20 definitely qualifies,,, call airmiles,,, and watch Airmiles site.
Also check that the purchase was on Dec 8th or after.




Gift cards bought at Shell do not count as a shop the block .

When I did the OLG Lottery machine I did not use my BMO card , I used another Mastercard. (Take ID with you as you must scan it to show you are old enough to buy lottery tickets.) I used the machine located at Real Canadian Super Store.
$10 spend.

I believe it is Only 1 redemption for Shop the block.
