There is a Global offer, spend $20 get 20 AM, have to opt in. Not much but a little bit extra.

Can anyone help me determine if earning bonus miles, but not spending enough to earn a base mile at one place (Kent stores here in NS) will count as "earning a mile"?
The terms say, earn a mile... but when you read this paragraph is uses the terminology of base miles.
"See airmiles.ca for a list of eligible partners and each partner’s unique base offer purchase requirements and terms and conditions.

Thoughts? Thanks

I did a redemption for $50 Disney GC and stopped to get kiddo more mayo, he sure eats it fast. The receipt worked for 6 AM (bought two jars) so that's two items done. Debating on Shell today but the premium gas is so much more expensive than the regular even if it would earn me 95 AM. I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost. 30 L at about 30 cents more per L is $9 extra spent to earn $10 back? Doesn't really feel worth it. Hmm.

Yeah the savings on the more expensive gas seems not quite worth it to me.
I got gas today but used one of my Canadian Tire Gift Cards I purchased a few months ago at Shell for 30 Airmiles.
Maybe a $5 spend at Shell for a couple of Santa stocking treats?

I just got the regular gas. I needed a full tank, and I'm good with it counting for Shop the Block-I usually need gas juuuuust before, so can't make use of that offer.

My local Pharmasave just posted upcoming bonus days-

On December 12 and 13, earn 60 Bonus Miles™ when you spend $30 or more in-store.* It’s the perfect time to snag stocking stuffers, winter wellness essentials, and last-minute gifts.

Make sure to opt in ahead of time through the AIR MILES® App or visit airmiles.ca/en/offers/partners/flashoffers-moremiles.html.

*Terms and exclusions apply; see offer page for details.

I was in the area, so did my Pharmasave shop (used my BMO AM cc). The airmile posted immediately, and joins the Shell, Old Navy (airmilesshops) and Airmiles receipts as done. I'm still waiting on the Amazon through airmilesshops to post, (and the AM for redeeming 95AM for an evoucher). So, technically, I'm done.

I usually buy my relatives the OLG gift packs with scratch cards inside for Christmas. Where is the best place to buy them so I can take advantage of Shop The Block. Would I need to buy them with my card linked card? Thank you.

You need to use a self- service kiosk , they look like a vending machine, I've seen them in multiple grocery stores in our city, mainly zehrs (part of the loblaws chain) and you can get either draw tickets or scratch ones as well. If you use your linked Mastercard that will give you an extra 50 miles.

Here's the webpage with info from OLG

Thank you so much!

If you purchase thru the kiosk, does that count as one of the partners for STB - as it would be card-link?
yes, that is the only way to get the OLG card- link offer , thru the kiosk. I was super annoyed last time around because other than one or two locations in downtown Toronto they hadn't been rolled out yet.

you can get miles from lottery purchases occasionally at Shell but those are only during stated promotions and usually for draw based lotteries only.

ETA, you can do of the multiple card linked offers and each one will count as an offer, but only the first time you do it. Example, do the OLG kiosk one, 3 separate transactions of $10 and you'll get 30 miles (offer is 10 miles/$10) BUT that will only count as 1 offer. Spend the $25 at Marble Slab (last time we got an ice cream cake for a birthday celebration) and get those miles plus a 2nd STB offer completed.
