Received an email 'A Special Disney Announcement'. It announced a new Australian and NZ exclusive shopping platform, with a wider range of products and an ever evolving catalogue of new content and product from Disney's most loved franchises.
I thought perhaps someone in charge had actually listened to all of us Aussies and Kiwi DISers complain about not having anywhere to buy Disney products without having to pay ridiculous shipping costs, and excitedly clicked on the link to check it out!
What I found was basically the existing DisneyZone DVD shop, with a small selection of books, computer games, toys and kids costumes. For someone hoping for the Australian version of the Disney store, it was the biggest let down ever
I guess if you have kids and a lot of you Disney shopping is books, toys and costumes anyway, it might be exciting news.
