Shoes?!?!?!

Tennis shoes or sandals? I have a few pair of easy spirit sandals that are sooooo comfortable and I think these may be my best bet. My tennis shoes aren't that comfortable, but I could get some comfort inserts. What does everyone else do? I'm a whimp when it comes to my feet and that's the worst problem at places like Disney.

Also, what about my son. I bought him a pair of Nike sandals for the trip. Would that be best or should he wear tennis shoes?

Curious to know what everyone else does. We're only going to the MK for one day if that makes a difference. Will there be chance of him getting tennis shoes wet there?

we usually invest in some really good sneakers about 4-6 weeks before our trip,to get them worn in a little we also take sandals too but feel our feet feel much better after a long day in the parks when we've had on our sneakers

SANDALS all the way!!! Your feet don't boil in sandals and it doesnt matter if you get wet. I always wear my nike sandals they're fab.

We usually switch with our sandals and sneakers. Usually we were sneakers to MK and MGM. We wear sandals to AK and Epcot. We wear the Nike Straprunners so if they get wet ..they dry out pretty fast. Hope this helps

I'm whimppy about my feet too. I bring 2 pairs of Nike sneakers because nothing is worse than the freak rain storm which soaks your feet and you have to walk around in wet sneaks for 2 days! (Learned that lesson the hard way!)

I also bring a pair of Nike Straprunners and will usually wear these to AK and maybe a morning at MK.

My son & I do both too, Teva sandals and sneakers with support. We wear the Tevas to Epcot & AK for sure, lots of water there! I love putting my feet in the splashing fountains. The ones you're supposed to, not the ones you're not. Or, just pour water on them with a cup if you need to. So refreshing. Usually by the end of the 4th day I'm wearing the Teva's everyday anyway. They are comfy!
