Shoes off for AIT machines at BWI?

First time since 2000 that I'm flying out of BWI & first time with the new machines. Do you still have to remove your shoes if you go through the AIT machines? Thanks.

Yes. But not only your shoes, but your belt, and EVERYTHING in your pockets.
