I broke my big toe this summer and the result of healing has left the toe joint area of my shoes feeling tight and uncomfortable on that foot after a few hours and the problem is just exaggerated when trying on new shoes. I've seen some wooden 'shoe strechers' in some cheapy gift catalog at some point. I think this is what I need to do to make my shoes comfortable again. I don't want to have to take a thousand breaks just because my shoe is hurting and my fabulous Tevas that I wore to the 'World' this summer won't cut it for a winter trip. I can't remember which catalog I saw them in, but what I would really like is to be able to find this product in a regular store. Does anyone know if such a product exsists in a Brick & mortar store or which catalog I may have seen the shoe stretcher in?
