Hi all, not sure where to post this question but here goes. We have never been to Disney other than the summer when it is warm. What is the best type of shoes to wear to the parks on those cold and wet days? Thanks for any and all replies. TIA

I give up this year I'm bringing my Hunter rain boots with thick socks and calling it a day.

Well I am discovering that, for me, it's easier and more effective to wear wool socks with most of my shoes than to only wear the waterproof shoes or hiking boots to stay warm. So for our upcoming trip, I will be packing shoes I would wear in mild winter weather and wool socks. If my dates predict more than half our trip to be wet, only then will I pack (heavy, would-not-want-to-wear-all-day) waterproof footwear... That's just me, though - I would be too sweaty even in frigid temps if I were stuck in waterproof shoes all day. You may be fine in boots all day.

We are going in January this year - so I am worried about cold weather too! We have been in December before and really had wonderful weather - shorts almost every day!
That being said - I will verify weather before we go - but, I anticipate wearing my fur lined leather Keens. I know I will need them here when we leave and come home and they are decent to walk around in.
If you have a good pair of trail shoes - (Columbia - North Face) then I would go with those - should keep you warm and comfy too.
If it looks rainy - I will invest in some good water repellent spray for my Keens.
Good socks are a must too!
