DBF and I have just returned from our Spring Break trip (no kids, we're the kids!). We spent 2 days at WDW (sorta -- I worked from the hotel room and he worked at Yacht Club front desk, we went to the parks at night), then boarded the DCL Wonder for a 3-night cruise. After 3 more days at WDW, we decided we weren't ready to go home, so we created our own DCL double dip trip (double dip = 2 trips to Castaway Cay) by going on another DCL Wonder 3-night cruise. We have the time now while we are in a work lull, so decided to take advantage of it and do our very favorite thing -- cruise with DCL!!

Here are the shirts we wore on the first day of both DCL Wonder sailings. All the CMs LOVED them!! When we weren't together, people would say "your other half just went that way." Very recognizable.
BIG THANK YOU to Julia & Nick's Mom for her wonderful design (no pun intended).

This is the shirt I wore the day we went to tea at the Grand Floridian. Again, the CMs loved it.
BIG THANK YOU to Lady Lucca for her wonderful design.

This is the shirt I wore the day we went to Disney-MGM. It's such a teen park and this sentiment is very teen-ish to me. Plus, we are big Kim Possible fans, specifically Shego.
Again, BIG THANK YOU to Julia & Nick's Mom for her design.

I love this shirt. Funny, it didn't get the attention I thought it would, but I love it anyway. I found the cartoon somewhere here on DDA or DIS.

I wore this shirt the day we went to MK. I love ALL of Nick & Julia's Mom's new "squares" designs. It was so fun not to have to choose just one princess to wear that day.

I used the transfer paper from eBay and shirts I bought at Target (cotton and lycra blend for me, all cotton for DBF). The shirts turned out well. After a wash or two, I need to re-iron the designs since the edges have popped up, but they haven't cracked or anything yet. I only had that happen once on the transfer paper for light shirts, but this time I used transfer paper for dark shirts and the designs printed out beautifully.

Thanks for letting me share!

Awesome shirts!!! This is one of my favorite things about this board - seeing all the shirts people made & hearing how their trip went. Sounds like you had a great trip! I'm jealous!!!! I don't get to go again until December (if I can talk DH into it, of course).

I'm very impressed!! They came out great. Are these pictures taken before you wore them or after? I love the ebay paper - I'll never use anything else again. Thanks for posting them.

Would there be a way for you to share the disney desperate housewives? That is great!

These photos were taken in the hotel room between the cruises. I wore them the first week, then we washed them in the hotel washer and hung them to dry in the room. Thus they were hanging up and I whipped out the camera to take the photos. It's jus the edges that have started to pop up on a few of them. It's not a complaint with the paper. They just need a little pressing down again.

Here is the Disney Desperate Housewives design:

Those look awesome!!

Can you post a picture of yourself in the square design or email it to me - I am wondering how the design will look on my chest - does it accentuate any particular parts?!?!? :teeth:

Here is the squares design on me today at the Dallas Blooms Festival at the Dallas Arboretum.

I always struggle with where to put the design so that it doesn't put too much emphasis on my "assets." Plus, if you put it too high, it's too close to your neck and looks like a homemade shirt. If you put it too low, you have the same problem.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. Your shirts turned out great! I love the princess design on the lavender shirt! You did a great job. :cheer2:

The shirts came out great. I especially like the "Disney Desperate Housewives." It's a riot! :lmao: :lmao:

I think the placement of the iron-ons came out good too. Very professional looking. I also like the use of the V-neck! I love V's and Scoop-necks myself!

Love, love, love them all. And thanks for the pictures. That's one of my fav. parts is seeing how it all came out.

BTW: the Desperate Housewives was a hoot! :rotfl2:

They look great. I may have to exchange my shirts for the ones at Target instead of michaels.
