I've gotten a Shirley Temple at dinner - no charge.

But, ordering one in a bar/lounge, there was a charge.

I just got back from the February 14 Dream sailing. This was my first time trying a Shirley Temple. It was no extra charge, because it has no alcohol. I'm not a fan of Coke products, so I had always had a mix of cranberry and sprite at dinner before. Now this is going to be my favorite go to drink!

It was no extra charge, because it has no alcohol.

Still, they do charge you for the menu's non-alcoholic specialty drink, so it would not have surprised me if they charged for the ST, if only to send someone to a bar for grenadine.

But that makes me wonder if they keep grenadine on-hand in the MDRs specifically for Shirley Temple requests.

No additional charge.

They also will do it for the adults! We did a girl's trip and all of us ordered dirty shirleys the first night. One of us commented we would like an extra cherry; our servers brought us a whole bowl (and then brought us a bowl of cherries every night we were in an MDR for the rest of the cruise).

My daughter always orders a Shirley Temple. On our last cruise she had one cherry the first night, two the second, three the third and so on. It was cute.

They did this for us too and my twins ate ALLLLLL of them. So much sugar ! But I guess that's what vacation is for....
