So, for out last trip during Christmas we did the Dreaming of a Disney Holiday in room celebration. It was super fun and cute, but a little pricey. Since we are going back this year for a week during the holidays I thought I would pull out the door banner, and some of the other decorations, and maybe even buy one of those small LED lit Christmas trees to decorate the room. It really added to the holiday magic last time. My issue is I con't want to pack and fly with all the extra stuff. Can I ship it to the Grand and have it waiting for me when we get there? That sure would make things a lot easier.

Also, if anyone has any other fun ideas for Holiday fun at Disneyland or the Grand Californian feel free to chime in!

Thanks everyone!

Yup...I ship to hotels all the time and have at the Grand as well. Here is how I recommend doing the shipping label:

Grand Californian Hotel
Attn: Guest John Doe 6/18-6/20
1600 Disneyland Dr
Anaheim, CA 92802

Some full service hotels will charge a "handling fee" per package but I do not believe the Grand will charge you.

We had some things shipped to the Grand from Amazon last time we were there, addressed pretty much like ParkHopper1 describes above. Package arrived a day or two before we did and there was no problem (and no charge).

For others that could be reading, and to save $$$, there's a couple of well
stocked discount stores nearby which have plenty of party supplies.

99 Cents Store (Euclid/Ball)
Dollar Tree (Multiple locations)

Great tip, as we will have a car as well. Thanks!

I wouldn't bother with shipping. That's going to cost you a ton to buy everything new, and for what? A week, and then you'll garbage it all? Not worth it imo.

Hit up the 99 cent store beside Target. I'm sure you'll be able to find everything you need plus some, and you'll end up spending way less.

parkhopper1...Have you shipped to any wdw disney hotels ?? i'm considering shipping some things there to meet us , but i have never done it before:)

Only the Grand and not WDW...but I have things drop shipped to all level of hotels from high end resort to 3 star resorts all over the country. Any hotel will receive packages for guests without a problem...just be sure to have the name of the guest on the reservation and arrival date if possible on the label. Also helps to have the tracking # in hand when you arrive. Have had many hotel say they can't find the package until you show them the tracking # that shows delivered with who signed for it...seems to turn up real fast all the sudden!
