I've read that you can ship items to your resort and the preferred method is UPS or Fedex. Here's my dilemna: I'd like to order some items from Amazon and ship it to our resort. My issue is, when you pick the FS option, you are not able to choose which carrier ships your item, Amazon picks that for you. I'm wanting to order some Bakugan sets for my ds but I'm worried it might get lost, or not get there in time for our stay (3 weeks from now).

Anyone had experienced this before?

I used to do this a lot when we were posted overseas. Just make sure it is addressed to you care of the resort and your arrival date is noted.

Amazon is the only place I could find these at a decent price. There is none locally. I have 3 weeks before check in so I have no doubt it till be there before we get there. If I ship it to our house, I might forget to take it with us. This is on top of DS's Christmas list.

Thanks, John. I'll try it and hope for the best.

I don't think there's anything to worry about as far as shipper. Over the years, I've used UPS, DHL, or any other reputable company (which Amazon certainly is). As long as you clearly mark the package with your expected arrival date along with your name, etc, there shouldn't be a problem. :thumbsup2
I do remember occasionally being asked to put the reservation number on the package, but that seemed to be dependent upon which CM picked up the phone.
Hope your son enjoys his gift. :goodvibes
