Sorry if this has been answered - I haven't found anything on this thread so here goes with my question:

Someone wants to post me a letter, to the hotel for collection on arrival.
Is this possible to RPR?

I am assuming that USPS standard service would be used. If addressed correctly do you think this work?

TIA

Other people have reported having things sent or delivered for them. Just make sure you put your reservation number on there just like at Disney.

Once again Damo - you come through with the good oil

thank you!

I had a package shipped to me at RPR.

I had to pick it up at the conference center office. If you come off the elevator, go outside and are facing the pool, the Islands Dining Room would be to your right. Head left to get to the conference center. Go past the gift shop. Keep going and the entrance will be on your left. Once you go inside, turn right and keep walking. The office will be on your right.

If it's just a letter, maybe they will have it at the front desk for you. I don't know.

I did not put my reservation number on it (or on the two packages I had shipped to Disney resorts).

Thank you so much for this detailed info! very helpful! It is just a letter and I suspect it will be sent by USPS. Looking on the Disney boards the sticky says that USPS don't deliver to WDW resorts and so to use a courier. But I don't have control over the sender - so I thought RPR may be easier.

thanks - I'm gonna give it a try!

When we were in Disney three weeks ago, we had some parcels delivered by USPS and they were delivered directly to our room at the Boardwalk Villas. The parcel sent by UPS was sent to the conference centre and we had to pick it up.

Make sure you report back on how it went at the RPR so we can advise others.

you can mail letters/ cards from the gift shop on the lobby floor at rph.

Assuming they handle things the same way as the PBH, it shouldn't be a problem. We always ship 90% of our clothes and all the food and drinks via UPS ahead of time so they get there a couple days before we do.

We just put the name the reservation is under, the check-in date and "Hold for Guest" somewhere on the boxes. They've always been waiting for us.

I can't wait to hear back how it went shipping stuff to the hotel prior to your arrival...great idea.

Hi everyone and thanks. The shipping worked pretty much perfectly. Only because the sendere had only written my first name on one of the parcels did I have a problem. But I kept asking for a second parcel and eventually they found the parcel that matched my first name and they (the RPH peeps) handed that over too.
