Shipping package to Windsor Hills?

Hi all,

We will be staying at a Windsor Hills condo for a week in August and I was wondering if anyone who'd ever stayed at WH had shipped a pacakge to the condo prior to their arrival? I know many do this when staying onsite but was curious if anyone did it with success offsite?

Dont know if the office will accept anything but I do know you can have stuff delivered to your door while you are there.

We set up a fed-x delivery before we left and they brought it to us down there no problems.Make sure you ask the owner for the correct address of your particular unit.

No, I don't believe you can do this because each home is individually owned & managed at WH. There would be no-one there to accept it. Actually if the home is rented out before you arrive, then there could be other people there! I wouldn't think that any delivery company like UPS or FedEx would leave something there (at the door) if no-one is there. You could contact the management company (whoever that may be) and see if they'll let you send a package to them that you could pick up, but that could be quite a bit of trouble, I'd think! Just one of the many things that are different from renting an individual home and staying in a hotel, but we prefer the individual home!

OK, here is the scoop on deliveries to rental homes.

In the main, the post office will not deliver to rental homes. So you cannot mail something to the rental home.

If a community has a central clubhouse, they generally DO NOT accept mail for owners or guests.

You can usually get deliveries from couriers such as UPS / Fedex etc. however if they need a signature, you will need to be there to accept delivery. If they don't need a signature and you are not there, they may just leave the parcel on the doorstep and there is a chance that the parcel may go missing. You should ensure that the delivery is timed to arrive during your stay (not before your arrival as the home may not be occupied prior to your arrival or if it is, the other guests may have a nice present from you).

If you are mailing to your VR, do let the owner and property manager know, just in case!
