Has anyone ordered directly from WDW ? What's the best method of receiving tickets from WDW??? Regular US postal service($5) or Fedex($15).

Thanks Vicky

I haven't ordered from WDW - as there is no discount to order online versus at the gate. I have used Undercover Tourist though. You may want to compare prices ... keep in mind that their posted prices already include all Florida taxes, and the shipping is free. (WDW shows the pre-tax amount and charges shipping.) If you subscribe to the Mousesavers newsletter, you can get an additional couple of dollars off.

I just prefer Fedex. It gets there overnight. USPS can take forever, with the border crossing and all.

I would order from Undercover tourist, but I purchased 2 of the 5 day passes thru airmiles & UT doesn't offer a 5 day pass? They have a 5 day plus 6th day free, so that would mean I would have 2 extra days & there are 4 of us. I will have to do some comparing I think!!

I'm not sure what the problem is. The 6th day is just a bonus, you don't have to use it. :confused3 Alternatively, you can go to guest services with your 2 airmiles passes and pay a few dollars (literally) to upgrade to a 6th day.

Not that you have to pre-purchase your passes. I'm just saying there's no reason to pay for shipping from the Disney website when they offer the same price for their passes as you pay at the gate. Might as well save the shipping and buy them when you get there. :)

Oh - just to mention about shipping. The Undercover passes came by regular mail, and they were literally in my hands in 10 "business" days.

I can't seem to find prices for upgrades-like adding an extra day or adding no expiration? Plus I have heard from lots of people to get your tickets before because it is really busy at the turnstyles.

There is a whole "sticky" thread about this and how to do upgrades in the theme park forum.

Undercover tourist is by far the best way to order tickets if you want them before you go.

You dont buy your tickets at the turnstiles, you buy them from the ticket centres. They are outside the turnstiles, or even at DTD... which is a great place to purchase, since they are not at a park and you wont waste any time in the morning for your first entry.
