shipping items to a hotel

Ok so i've read on here before that if you can't take stuff on the plane with you because it's too big or not allowed that you can ship to your hotel. Well I have a machine that helps me breathe at night and it requires distilled water. Now I have to take atleast 1 gallon of distilled water for the eight days i'm staying there. I was wondering if you can really ship stuff to your hotel for you and do they just hold the stuff for you? Also any tips on how to do this? Do I have to call them and tell them i'm sending something to the hotel? And do i have to address it to me or to the hotel that im staying at? And should I wait until just a few days before I arrive so it comes the same day that I arrive or would they hold it for me for a while? If anybody has done this before and could tell me how to do this that would be great!

We ship a box every time. Actually I am waiting for the box to come back home by Fedex right now.
I have never sent water though. I dont know if I would ship that or just order from a grocery company that delivers to the resort.
I always send the box either Fedex or UPS. I found both of them to be very dependable and both are pretty similiar in price. I mail to the hotel address that is in my packet, to my attention. I send it out about 1 wk before. This time I added a couple of extra days, since I was arriving for the 4th of July.
The box was there waiting for me. No problems at all.

You can call the resort directly, talk to the concierge services and tell them you require the distilled water, they may get it for you.
