I'm so glad I found your report!!! Your nephew is so cute! Can't wait to hear about more of your trip!!!

I woke up around 8am this morning. I had hoped to sleep a little longer, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. Jason and Joaquin were still sound asleep at that time. I figured I would be nice (everyone say awwwww), and let them sleep a little longer. So, I texted Mom to see if she was up.

True to form, she was. I left a note and hopped next door to hang out for a while. I wasn't over there too long though before Jason called. Jason apparently forgot to grab chonies for Joaquin out of the luggage in the car, so I needed to run down and get some.

When mom and I got back, Joaquin was just coming out of the bathtub so fresh and so clean. He was very happy to see this.

Little side note. Joaquin sneezes in a very exaggerated manner. I now know where he gets this from. Just watch Captain Hook sneeze on Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Yup. That's how Joaquin sneezes.

So he sneezes and I start cracking up, because I'm afraid he's going to wake up the world. Fortunately, it wasn't that early.

We were ready to go by about 9:45am. We decided to head straight over to the Beach Club. We figured we would chill out while waiting for Chris, Sara, and Riley to arrive for our lunch at Beaches and Cream. We all grabbed something from the Beach Club marketplace to drink while we waited for them to text that they had gotten there.

Oh Beach Club, I will be back in October.

We got a text letting us know that they were just pulling into the parking lot, so we moved into the lobby to wait. Joaquin found a map at the table in the lobby, so he made quick work of dissecting that.

So serious, right?

Everyone else showed up, and Riley was super excited when she saw us. Joaquin just started chatting her up right away. They were talking about what they would be doing at the Magic Kingdom when they got there.

We headed over to Beaches and Cream so we could wait to get in for the day. There were only two other families waiting to get in.

We made it in very quickly after that and were seated at two tables next to each other.

Wicket had strict orders to behave. Otherwise, he would be in time out!

Everybody got cheeseburgers, and the kiddos both got hot dogs. Please note, a theme on this trip is that Riley is a picky eater. Very picky. Joaquin? Human garbage disposal. A true study in opposites.

Wicket passed out, because he was bowled over by the size of the burger!

Wicket arose from his fainting spell and promptly hopped on mom's shoulder.

Of course, Joaquin couldn't just let Wicket rest....

Somehow the kids got a hold of a random balloon and were messing around with it.

But before things could get too out of hand, I put Wicket in his rightful place......as a balloon holder.

Then it was time for the sundaes to come out.

Dad and Jason shared a No Way Jose too, and Chris and Sara shared a brownie sundae. Everyone was very happy with the meal overall. This meal was my treat to everyone, and I think it was a great way to start the trip for us.

I might have to go there like TODAY haha. We had Steak and Shake yesterday after Universal but that looks even better than what we had..super jealous right now!!!!

I'm glad everyone made it there safe and sound and now the real fun can begin!

Ha ha, you're so fortunate that you can go there whenever you want to. I know, let the real fun start now!

It's a great place to eat. Very small, so I recommend eating there early in the day, otherwise it may be hard to get in. The kids sundaes are too cute and they loved them.

Beaches n' Cream looks so nice! I've heard so many good things about it and it seems to haunt me. The regular lunch food looks good and the Ice Cream looks even better. I like how it looks to have a bubbly candy shop feel to it, something to keep myself eating the food. Any Kitchen Sinks while you were there?

And poor Wicket... he seemed to have been pulled in many directions throughout this meal and then he ends up on the floor holding the balloon. Poor little guy But at least he behaved

The Boardwalk area is definitely one of my favorites. I love staying in that area.

Beaches and Cream is awesome and the atmosphere is very 50's soda shop. There was one kitchen sink when we were there. The kids were all excited when the lights started flickering for it.

I realize I did abuse poor Wicket at this meal. But I made it up to him later in the week when I took him home to Endor.

Joaquin took his map reading responsibilities very seriously. But it's a good thing we didn't let him guide us, because goodness knew where we would have ended up!
