Shhh! Super Secret Winter Warm Up Girls Only February Get Away (from the snow)

Please accept my most sincerest of apologies. I can honestly say this is the first time in my life a women was disappointed in my performance. :teeth:

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! And NOW I'm happy.

Yes, I will be living vicariously through your PTR and your trip and then your TR. ;)

I wish you could come along. That would be WAAAAY more fun! :goodvibes

One year ago today, Richard had a heart attack. I am so thankful that he's still with us. I really don't know what I would do without him.

It's harvest time right now and it's been so rainy that we are way behind on things so I barely saw him today (it was a sunny, nice day today--FINALLY!).

We were able to take our "Christmas Miracle Trip" to WDW in December of last year. And today I started scrapbooking all the photos from that trip. I'm heading off to a 3 day scrapbook weekend two weeks from now, so I'll be re-living all our wonderful memories from that whole week. :goodvibes

Very different from last year at this time!

Just added 1900 Park Fare Breakfast to our ADR's. DD says she wants to eat with Mary Poppins! :goodvibes Me too!!!

I am so glad Richard is doing well!

I love that pearl cage, I have never seen that design before

Natalie, I know! I had not seen it before either. I saw another one on e-bay from the same seller. It arrived yesterday and it's really nice. I'm very happy with it!

Richard taught children's church this morning, came home and went right to the field again, so I probably won't see him much again today. He's trying to make up for all the lost time since we had so much rain. We have our church's fall festival at our house next weekend so I'm trying to get the yard ready for that. We'll have around 150 people here next weekend.

150 people :scared1: glad it's you and not me

we started our TR

Love the gifts. Too funny about cleansing Monday.
If you can, I would like to link/seller of the mickey pearl cage. I love it!

Sorry I haven't had much time to post....we are preparing for our big fall festival this weekend. The kids and Richard made a corn maze. We will have a balloon artist, face painting, free food, games, prizes, a cupcake contest (which I am entering!), a cake walk, and hopefully, if the ground is not too wet, hayrides!

The following weekend is my 3 day scrapbook retreat and I've been preparing for that too. PLUS I'm starting to see clients at my new practice now so can you say, "Super busy?" ;)

Made some changes to my plan which I'll have to post about later. Time to get the kiddos off the bus!

Ok, ok....So sorry! :guilty: I have been SUPER busy the last couple of weeks. We had our big fall festival and then I was away last weekend at my 3 day scrapbooking retreat. Next weekend is my open house for my new office. Right now I'm working 3 jobs between being office manager at my church, the new office and my scrapbooking consultant business.

I was scrapbooking our December 2010 trip on my weekend. I love the pictures! The memories are so much fun. I'm only grieving that we won't be at AKL on this trip. I loved  loved loved AKL. I'm hoping we will like POFQ.

And today is DOUBLE DIGIT DAY! 99 days til our trip!!!! It's going to go by fast now. We had a stupid snow storm (it is still OCTOBER) yesterday! We got about 5 inches of snow. I hope this does not mean anything for the type of winter we are going to be having. But at least we have some sunshine to look forward to in 99 (count them NINETY-NINE) days! WOOT!

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3: Double Digit Dance Day.....99 days.....99 days....99 days! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Ok, so about the changes....I decided that we would skip Fantasmic! which is not showing until the last night of our trip (Feb. 13) during our stay. I didn't want to end our trip at HS. Plus it's going to be very crowded at HS that day. So we changed our HS day to Sunday (a best park day) so we can take our time there without the crowds. DD and I both love doing the Art of Animation and we are thinking we might do it several times that day and see how many different characters we can draw!

So we are ending our trip at Epcot instead :goodvibes.

I'm MUCH happier with this plan.

The only thing that I'm questioning right now is our first day (yes, STILL ) I have us going to MK when we arrive with dinner at Tony's Town Square that evening. We've never been to Tony's....I just can't decide if that's what we want to do or not.... I'm pretty sure we don't want to be out too late and if it's nice, DD is going to want to swim. Or, we could hang out at the resort early and THEN go to MK for dinner...that might work!

98 days now!!! :banana::banana::banana:

I have never tried Tony's but I'm all for trying new places. I heard nothing but but about Mama Melrose and I loved it!

Now you have me thinking about trying Tony's next trip. Emma loves Lady and the Tramp, maybe it could be her birthday dinner

Do you have a list or a link to all the movie nights that you and Tracy did before your trip?

I'm thinking about doing something like that.

I'd like to do a Lady and the Tramp Night and maybe a Winnie the Pooh (with the new movie!) and maybe sort of base it around the places we will be eating and some events in the parks. We could do the new muppet movie for HS day....just sort of thinking "out loud" here. What do you think?

Thanks! I started a tentative list. We have about 14 weeks until our trip so I'm thinking we might be able to get in 10 movies....more or less! Here's my list so far:

Winnie the Pooh with honey lime chicken, honey spiced carrots and maybe baklava for dessert! pooh: (Crystal Palace)
Lady & the Tramp with an Italian menu including spaghetti & meatballs (Tony's Town Square)
Mary Poppins with typical British roast beef and vegetables (Rose & Crown)
Finding Nemo with seafood (is that cannibalism??? :rotfl:) (Coral reef)
Muppet Domination (new movie at the theater) (not sure of the menu for this...maybe we will eat out!)
Lion King with an African menu to include Boboti and peanut butter rice and Zebra cakes (DD loves them!) (Boma)
Adventures of Chip-N-Dale (not sure of the menu yet) (1900 Park Faire breakfast)
Alice in Wonderland with high tea
Monsters Inc with Monster cookies for dessert
Jungle Book with DD's favorite "Rainbow Buffet" (fruits & veggies of all colors)

So, what do you think? Does it sound fun?

Sounds fun!!! Can't wait to read about them.

10 is a good number. When I started I had 26 weeks till my trip so that was a little much to keep up with so I quit but Tracy was a trooper and kept it up
