Shhh! It's A Secret!!!

Hi Everyone. Yesterday, we decided to surprise the kids with a trip the last week in September/First week in October. We went the past 2 summers and they are truly under the impression that there is absolutely no way we are going this year. In fact we are going to New Hampshire for our regular summer vacation. We are planning on sending them to school on that Tuesday, when they come home we will surprise them. The best part is we have driven the other 2 times so they will be even more surprised to fly. Also we will be celebrating my husband's 40th birthday on the 3rd and my daughter's 11th birthday on the 4th! My husband and I are so excited. We only told our bosses so we can schedule the vacation days; we arent' even going to tell our extended family yet. I'm too afraid the secret will get out.


Now you will all have to be my secret outlet to share my planning!

That's great! We're planning to surprise our kids too. My son is five and such an obsessed Disney fan. He talks about it almost every day. I am going to order Mickey Ears and put them on their pillows for them to see when they wake up. Planning to pack while they're at school!

Looks like you will be at SSR at the same time we will. We're staying at SSR from the 12th through the 19th. Don't forget to hang a lime-green mickey head from you belongings or person to identify yourself as a DISer. We're using the Home Depot Mickey Head paint chips in Alien Green. See you there.
