I'm so glad that you have such a good attitude about everything. Hey--don't feel guilty about either. Think about it...if you had a job still, you wouldn't be having time to clean your house anyway. So just use the time you would normally use to clean your house. The other time can be devoted to job hunting! And either way, you're being productive!! At least you're not sitting on your hind end watching old black-and-whites!

Actually, DH was off today and with his help, I got a lot done cleaning wise as well as applied to three jobs. We went down to the garage and found my box of summer clothes. I took out some stuff. While I was doing that, DH was looking around when something moved in a bag and scared the snot out of him! It was a flying squirrel. NO Joke!!

my cat saw the little squirrel and it was a matter of moments........

the little flying squirrel was....um....lunch.

I heard the cat "crunch" and I had to step out of the garage before I gagged.

I have to say, the flying squirrels are creepy looking, not cute like your regular gray squirrel.

Oh My Goodness!! That is super creepy! I cannot stand squirrels, we had one in our house over the winter last year. It totally creeped me out! I saw something while I was doing my laundry and it moved just enough to make me look, then I realized what I was looking at and I swear! That stupid thing lunged at me! DF says I am exaggerating but I swaer it did! I am feeling your pain, at leats your cat took care of business lol!

I am sorry for being MIA.....

With the weather being so nice this weekend and errands that needed to be run, I really haven't had a chance to sit and write....let alone think!

DD5 lost a filling and I had to run her to the dentist, luckily, the dentist office didn't charge me to replace the filling.

DH had to get a "U joint" replaced in his truck, so we had to run and do that....

my van needed to be inspected this month...and I wanted to get that done before we left for Disney because we will be home April 3....can you say expired?

I had a really bad sinus infection and was down with a headache on Tuesday. Currently, I am drugged for that malady.

Yesterday, DH and I worked on laundry and had to fight with the girls to put their clothes away.

So, this weekend, we are making a list of needed items for Disney and after church on Sunday, we are heading to Target.

I am still job hunting and still keeping my fingers crossed.

Laundry UGH what a pain, my kids do the same thing its like this never ending battle!!! Seriously how hard is it to put away???? I started making htem wash and fold- they were more than happy to put away instead!

Okay I think the bratty tongue kid should definitely get the boot when you boot him tell him "PUT YOUR LAUNDRY AWAY!!!" LOL

okay, I have to top of my week with a bang, right?

DD5 woke up this morning in tears and was swollen on her right cheek. I get her ready for school and giver her a good dose of motrin and send her on her way. I call the dentist office when they open and explained the situation. They could see her at 12 noon.

So I pick her up from school and away we go.

Get this, the poor kid has an abscessed tooth which would explained why she ran a fever ALL last week and her pediatrician could not find anything wrong with her!

So, needless to say, she is currently on an antibiotic and is really miserable. I gave her a nice warm bath tonight and gave her the medicine. I also rubbed her down with a "Sleep" lotion from Bath & Body works to help her feel better. I put her to bed and she went right to sleep. The poor kid has been suffering for two weeks. Someone nominate me "Mom of the Year."

Well, here is the best news....she has to have the tooth pulled on Thursday. That will be nine days before we leave for Disney. I hope the swelling and everything is done with by the time we leave for Disney.

I asked my mom tonight who I upset in my previous life because I have bad luck in this life! She just told me that this is the many joys of having kids!

Oh no! I hope your DD is feeling better before the trip... do you think she has any idea its coming so soon??

If it makes you feel any better, I told my mom that my stomach was itchy for a few days when I was younger... she finally took me to the MD and found out I had scarlet fever! She felt terrible as well... but I fogave her lol! I do still tease her about it though . I bet your DD will foget about the pain and just remember the TLC you are giving her to help her feel better

We got one last week from Cinderella and my DD was over the moon!

Clara your poor DD!!! I am a tooth pain sufferer myself and trust me her having it present now is wayyyyyy better than at Disney (go ahead ask me how I know ) She will be much better once its out, Its the best feeling to get that painful thing out of your head.
I'll keep her in my prayers though thats a rough thing for a little one!

On a lighter note..... the countdown continues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
