I'm so happy you got the vacation days cleared up and having your plane tickets purchased.
WOW! Such an early flight out!! I did that once but it was just too early for us.

When we went in 2007, DH and I didn't sleep a wink...we were just too excited. We just laid there looking at the ceiling of the hotel room. The kids slept b/c we took them swimming for about 2 hr to wear them out.

The very first time DH and I went (sans kiddos) we...um... ....were able to...um...amuse ourselves

so we are okay with the early am flight.....I will need to check with my gammy to see if we can stay the night since she only lives about 1 & 1/2 hours from BWI.

Found out something really neat today!

One of my dear friends from high school, whom I have not seen since high school will be at Disney at the same time we are. Her family is staying at All-Star Music. I hope that we will be able to meet up, even if it is for just a afew minutes to hug and say hi. I don't want to impose on their family vacation.

Sadly, your MIL sounds just like my side of the family! I always feel bad for DH for exposing them to the crazy. Thankfully, we at least live on the opposite side of town. It sure doesn't stop them from stopping by (unannounced) all the time.

So glad to hear DH got his time off approved!! That's too bad his manager had to be a butt about it. They are probably just upset they don't get to go to WDW too.

I just wanted to let y'all know that my friend my high school and I have been communicating regarding our Disney Trip. ( we are going to Disney the exact same time)

Here is the great part....Both of our families are flying out of BWI on the 29. We are flying almost the same time too...they are flying airtran and we are flying SouthWest. We leave about 40 minutes before they do.

They are staying the night before at a hotel near the airport. WE are probably going to do the same and have discussed about meeting up that night so that way we don't have the pressure of the parks. We will be able to actually sit and have a nice visit!

I just think that is sooo neat!!

Okay, this pic is from a last trip in 2007. This is the first morning that we were at Disney. As you can see the girls were pretty tuckered out...but that is not the funny part. The youngest is on your left and the eldest is on your right....correct?

When we put them to bed the night before, the youngest was on the right and the eldest was on the left. I know for certain because I wanted to be next to the youngest in case she rolled out of bed or had to go to the bathroom, she was three at the time.

Somehow they switched places during the night but DH and I thought it was hilirious and still get a chuckle about it two years later!!

woo hoo!

Gotta another quick update. My high school friend and I have been writing back and forth the past week.....

Get this, not only are they flying out of the same airport but we are staying at the SAME hotel the night before our flights. So we are going to have a pool party with the kids and then grab some dinner together to visit before the excitement of Disney. I am almost as excited about this get together as I am Disney!

Did I mentioned that I "packed" the kids clothes while they were watching? I am smooth!

Actually I took out the summer clothes, washed them and then "hid" them in the suitcases while the girls were watching. I told them that it was not time for summer clothes and were it was, their clothes would be washed and ready to wear!
I am soo bad for lying to my children. I have started to pull clothes out for me but I need DH's help b/c my box of summer stuff is in the garage. I went to Old Navy a couple weeks back and bought a couple new shorts. I would like to get a couple new t-shirts too.

We will probably go shopping next weekend b/c DH needs a couple things and the girls each received a gift card from my mom for valentines day. It burning a hole in their little pockets. We have this huge new Target.

I love Target. Due to the new checked baggage fees and regs. We are only taking one suitcase each. So I bought a whole bunch of the little travels size bath goodies so that it will all fit in the front pockets of mine and DH's suitcases. I normally put shoes in those pockets but I am going to be a good girl this trip, I am taking my sneakers and flips. The same goes for the other three. They just don't know it.

We found out that DH has to work until 6 pm the Saturday before we leave. We are trying to decided whether to leave his truck somewhere or have me take him to work that morning....come home and finish all the last minute details then load up the van and go and pick him up. The reason that we are debating this is b/c he works an hour and fifteen min away. We are still in discussion about this!
