Happy Friday RC'ers!!

Hoping to hear some firm details soon about the military discount for next year.

My DH is pushing hard for CL and the girls keep talking about getting their cookies....oh what have I done...

Last night DH and I were talking about whether to go CL or not, and he starts a rapid fire list of why it's worth it....he should be on the Dis, lol!!!

Once I find out discount amounts, I'll make a firm decision. Votes???

My vote...IS FOR CL!!! With a discount of course

We weren't huge fans of YC CL, but the CMs were very nice, the resort BEAUTIFUL & PEACEFUL

We are going to WDW in April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April 1st to 7th Myrtle beach, OK this may turn into St.Pete Beach...

BUT I booked CR BLV CL from 4/7 to 4/13

The CL staff was amazing! Almost as nice as Sugarloaf. But the offerings, eh. Not DHs cup of tea, and the lounge was small and frequently crowded. JMHO, but I really liked GF SL better!

Morning~the basics..cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, minimuffins, bagels, pastries, toast, fruit

Afternoon~ chips, yogurt pretzels, limited cookies, swedish fish, trail mix

Evening~Egg rolls, crab dip (I think), if you check out Kook's BWI review, I think the offerings were the same...

Desserts. Sadly we did not check it out

Gf SL had meats and cheese in the morning, they had scones at tea time

The yummiest trifle (sp?), cupcakes...we LOVED them!!! Plentiful cookies, fruit, always replenished!!

Evening, fried Ravoli, wontons, chicken skewers...just more my family's taste.

The cupcakes were better at Sugarloaf...I am slightly biased though

pas yippie for CR, for now anyway until you switch to GF April is so nice we went at least 6x in April

I keep checking on CR and BLT I fact I even checked today for Dec FD again and CR BLV & BLT BLV are both available but then I have to Pay $200 to change our flights so no way that is going to happen.

I just am not feeling like the BWI so much anymore or maybe it is just the trip
itself.

MM Great news about the new discount. I would probably go with the CL since you have your DD and there is not a lot of Options for snacking other than if you go to the MarketPlace @ BC or walk over to BW

FWIW ... Our family really enjoys the evening EMH at MK ... once or twice we have hit DHS on a late night, but mostly we stick to MK. I know there was a conversation about the EMH evening hours getting cut to 2, that really stinks!! We don't usually do AM EMH, and will avoid that park for another on those early opening days (since we are more night owls .... )

Thx Janet - my almost 5 year old likely won't last in evening more than once but I hear what u say about avoiding the parks with early emh ......

Anyways pas130 - looking at opposites in terms of resorts - blt vs aoa nemo suite - I know so diff but huge price diff and the aoa being new is prob still never than other values (we aren't really motel ppl which is what the cm said values are like) but we figured my dd (the almost 5 year old) would enjoy and my othe dd(8 months when at Disney) won't know the diff. The big thing is the travel time which hubby says we will suck up this trip and if we don't like can change for next time

Thoughts ladies?????

Maybe its just the trip Sheila It's too bad you'd have to change your flights (because of date change, right) it seems like you're feeling "Bay lake" this trip You do have a few months......and fall/winter discounts will come out soon

I LOVE the values! They are fun! And AoA has a zero entry pool, great for the little Princesses. I know BLT has Bay lake, walk to MK, washer/dryer...ugh. IDK. AoA is brand, spankin new, you'd have that great food court. I don't find any of the WDW motelish...I guess because of the wonderful theming. The buses really aren't bad. I can't speak for AoA, but when we were at Pop they were quite frequent. With our double stroller we drive too...both resorts are awesome. kook will be at BLT this month!!!

pas I am thinking(secretly plotting) a split stay for F & W (BWI) and MNSSHP (BLT or CR).

You just gave me an idea maybe I could do GF & BWI if a room Discount came out tht would cover all or part of our days for this trip .... Hmmmm wonder if I could break Bob down and get him to try a split stay

Me too!! I got mine on a carnival cruise. Dh and I went toa demo and bought the book so we could make them for the kids. Guess how many we have done (we bought it 6) years ago. You guessed it - ZERO!

Janet - pics are still coming. It's been a long week but I need to download this weekend. I have been traveling for work and I am BEAT! I have a short day trip tomorrow and then sundayiam taking a week off. We are going to the beach and I seriously might not leave my lawn hair!

We are trying to decide if we should keep the rental car or not for our time at wdw - isn't it a pain to park and get the tram? Or park at ttc and then monorail (I'm not totally sure how it works)
Apparently aoa has their own buses like pop ....

Candace: How about POLY CL this time???? will it be available for your trip dates??? with the renos starting, and CL being first on the list, it might be a good time to try the POLY
Otherwise, I think WL CL is a perfect fit for your family, since you all love it so much! or.....throwing my families favourite out there: AKL CL....WE ADORE it there!!! it's usually our resort of choice, but I'm stepping out on a limb this time for the POLY. If I don't love the POLY as much as I am hoping I will, it will be VERY easy to go back to our AKL CL home ...it's like heaven on earth!
