Yes it will either be 50's or Sci-fi. We will see. :coffee: Sorry Candace I see that was an inflatable not a snow globe!

My kids absolutely LOVE Sci-Fi, it is always a must do with them ;) looks like you have a good selection of ADR's :)

Hi RCers,
I know we have lots of moms with little ones, I could really use your advice.
Which would you choose for a lunch with a 5 year old-Mama Melrose or Via Napoli? Or, are they about the same? :scratchin
I appreciate your help! :worship:

We haven't done Mama Melrose, but my kiddos (7 & 9) have said that Via Napoli is their new favorite!!!! (Even over Sci-Fi) I didn't plan on going in Dec And DS told me that I HAD TO FIT IT IN!!! They were disappointed we didn't go in Oct, but I didn't want to fight the F&W crowds. So there is our vote :)

Ginny: I would second Via Napoli too, we didn't love Mama Melroses and found it kind of cramped:crowded:. The kids couldn't even push their chair back without knocking into someone. Also, we found the food on the salty side there. Via Napoli has a nice airy feel to it, and the food is yummy too!:thumbsup2

Thanks Melissa, it may very well turn our to be Sci-fi that we do! It is going to be OOP, so either is reasonable. Hope you are feeling good today.:goodvibes

Well, hubby is gone. :sad1:

Dropped him off this morning, and he will be back late Saturday night.

No really, it's all good. We'll motor through as always. It's only a week, it's only a week...:rotfl:

Wreck-it-Ralph today!!!!:cool1:

Attempted a multiquote and failed...hugs to all. Stuck in the ambulance for the day and night. No power at my transport job..its a shame all the damage and deaths up here

No changes BTW

Pas... It must be difficult to work all around this devastation ..Sending hugs to you my friend..

Melissa ... hope your outing yesterday was fun and you weren't too tired afterwards.
hugs
Dani...that was a great idea to buy items for the shelter... just demonstrates how thoughtful you are.

DetTigsGal...it is amazing what one person can do -- happy that it created a snowball of generousity.:goodvibes

MM... I know it's sad that DH is gone this week, but with your busy schedule, it will probably fly by! Love your Christmas cheer! :thumbsup2

Ginny ...we had a good experience in August at Mama Melrose, but we choose it for the Fantasmic! package. Our usualy haunts would be PT 50s or Sci-Fi. Via Napolis just seems more laid back and fun. MM was a little cramped.

Jen ... I like all your ADRs :thumbsup2 And we like Sci-Fi and Primetime for choices for TS in HS.

Huge hug!!

I would definitely do via napoli with munchkins...ugh so much to comment.my brain is not cooperating ladies..

One night poly gv cl not worth 110 bucks on a mvmcp night..right??

Morning ladies! I am staying put today! Half way through BJ's yesterday DH informed me that he needed stuff from the grocery store for dinner, even after I had already said I wanted to split up the shopping, ugh. Okay I am doing okay and think I can handle this. Well the car ride home from the grocery store was filled with tears from the pain. It was just way too much walking and sitting for one day. DH will take DS for a haircut latter this morning, but I have put on some clean jammies and am spending my day laying on the couch ;)

I did luck out yesterday and got a Via Napoli lunch ADR for the day I wanted (and cancelled the one i had just made this week) and was able to switch my plans back to the way I want them :) Now I get to stalk the BoG ADR's waiting to find an opening there for Feb. if I had just stuck to a resort and dates I wouldn't be scrounging for this ADR ;)

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Hopelessly behind, but I wanted to give everyone a Jungle Cruiser (Pioneer Girl Sarah) update:

As Janet reported, she still has plenty of water, fruits and veggies, but she really misses having milk for her coffee (and probably many other things, but she's not one to complain). They had pasta and veggies for dinner last night.

They did receive emergency propane tanks for their generator which at this point means they have about a 5-day supply. However, power is not expected to be restored until the 14th:furious:. Let's all hope they've over-estimated the repair time. She has been able to talk to her Dr. and she will be (finally) getting to her medical appointment tomorrow. She never complains and is an inspiration to us all. Here's a little photo for her of one of her favorite things at the GF:

Please be careful out there, Jeanette and thank you for all you selflessly do for others. Your trip is coming up so soon!!!!! I hope everyone is safe and well.

Good news!

Spoke with Sarah last night and found out they received a propane delivery yesterday :yay: :cheer2:

AND, the road has been cleared so they WILL be able to get to her medical appt tomorrow at CINJ tomorrow!! :woohoo: It's fortunate that they live very close to a major route (only one other road needed to be cleared to feed into this major route) :)

So, hoping that the appt goes well tomorrow as the team regroups to discuss moving forward with the trial. :goodvibes

Didn't see your post Kook! :) Sure Sarah will love the picture of the GF -- which hopefully is tomorrow as she may be able to sneak a little time on the DIS with her IPAD.

Much better thanks for thinking of her. I think it was an upset tummy from the food yesterday, too much of everything. Birthdays will do that to her. So far today she has been fine and eating normally. Phew!:upsidedow

kook and Janet thanks for the Sarah update .... she's such a strong lady!

jeanette only nine days!!! As others have said be careful out there.

I have 21 hand knit scarves that I've made for charity ... wish I could get them to the east coast but it's so little .... think I'll just drop them off at the local women's shelter. Then it's time to finish the Christmas gifts and then start on the scarves for next.

Have a good Sunday!
