Fingers crossed you get a break. DH jus pointed out we only have 4 days of propane, we lost power for a day a couple of times during the summer. Our problem is we have a well and if we lose power we lose water...

I will come get you if you run out of propane

Our town is at 9% w/o power. Still big wind and a little rain. Am watching coverage on directv as they spin between Boston, NYC, Philly and Baltimore.

Stay safe! We keep watching the weather channel and its supposed to make landfall very soon ... the beaches and waves look so scary ... did you see that the water in Battery Park is at 6'6" ... 2.6 feet higher than Irene..

Another quick post and Praying all of us stay safe & thank you the well wishes 2 surrounding towns losing power, local streets are flooding..writing on the wall for us BUT a full pot of sauce & meatballs. Lots of gas for the generator!!! Hubs is home (much to his bosses displeasure)

Wind is really picking up, lights just went off and then right back on.

Hi to everyone, sorry you have lost power Sarah...hope it doesn't stay off for too long.

MM, Pas, DetTigGal, Dani, Linda, Muffycat, and all else affected, stay safe and dry!

Lot of big wind here, they said on the news that a sign was blown down in the city, hit a woman's head and she died.... No rain but we have taken everything in, and have all our flashlights and lanterns and glowsticks ready.

My kitties are cuddling up, I think they are freaked out by the creaking windows. It was crazy at work today, tons of people buying water cases and canned soup! We are not nearly going to be hit as hard as some of you, and I can really see how people rush to stock up on things.

Hi Jen ... Thanks my friend ... Its all okay we r safe and that's the most important thing . We will access damage in the AM.. Listened to the mayor tonight ... Over 400,000 in the phila 5 county area without power As far as posting I'm using the 4g with my phone :
