Pas: sorry I am late wishing your DS Happy Birthday!!party::bday::jumping1:
No apologies! He actuallyasked for cake for lunch...we ate all the cake (everyone's allowed seconds on birthdays :upsidedow) So he got some Oreo's....he had a fun birthday Number 4 (tha's what he called it)

Thanks for posting that great photo of three of our finest RCs, Jenny.

Is Jungle Cruiser safe at home and recuperating from her trip?

Jen, Miss, and Sarah - GREAT PICTURE :goodvibes

Funny that Jeanette mentioned CR garden wing, I was just looking into that as an option for our Jan/Feb trip, not that there is anything wrong with YC or WL, but you know I need to keep my options open :p

So...question for you all...what value is better for DH and I on an adults only weekend for May 16 - 19?

We are looking at either ASMusic, ASMovies or Pop Century. DH doesn't want to do a LM room at AOA;). Any opinions welcome! ASMovies and Music are slightly cheaper then Pop, not that it really matters.

I'm NOT trying to steer you in a different direction, but I was wondering if you had considered the Swolphin. I've never stayed Value or Swolphin so I apologize if I'm suggesting something that's not right, but I've seen some really good discounts and I thought someone once posted 'aboot' a Canadian discount? Then you and DH could walk right to Epcot and enjoy the BW, too:love:

I think Kook has a great idea! The Swolphin stop is the last stop going (and first stop coming from) on the ferry before DHS, so the a short ferry ride! I really loved being in that area and I think it is definitely worth looking into. Not to turn my nose up:snooty: at the values, but I always felt that were just overun with tour groups, school groups, and out of control kids, at least that was our experience at the All Stars, never stayed at Pop.

Hi all- thought I would never get caught up :) Glad to hear that all the September travelers had a terrific time...with just a couple of hiccups. Great pic of the dis meet. Hope all goes well with your surgery,Melissa, and you could steer clear of mil....I have one of those too.

Janet- happy to hear band is still going well...we hosted comp this past weekend too. Will send the link of our band,,if you would like.

We are 47 days out :) there is a possibility we will go in December as chaperones for the band :) Thursday we leave for Indiana to see Brendan for the weekend...my mom is coming down from Michigan so that will be great too

Thanks for posting the pic, Jen! Looks much better than the assorted, out-of-focus pics my hubs took. :rotfl: (My hair is definitely suffering from FL-droop!)

And thanks for all the compliments, y'all. :goodvibes:blush:

As the Kookmeister pondered, where's our lovely Sarah? Hope she's back at home and getting to relax ... and not stuck under piles of this: :laundy:

..............

All this talk has now got me contemplating a change to our January - LM room ressie. :scared:

Hubs and I stayed up 'til 1am talking about Disney last night -- not just me talking to myself either. :crazy2: We talked in circles about what time of year we wouldn't mind going. It's tough to meet both the "low crowds" and "big discount rooms" at the same time. :rolleyes2 Chit-chatted about possibly doing April for Miss M's birthday or pushing September back until November, but then we'd miss the Halloween party. :confused3 I'm open to suggestions!

Been off the DIS for the afternoon ... left work early to pick up DD for an appt.

First off .... I absolutely love seeing the smiling faces of Jen, Sarah and Miss!! :goodvibes Such beautiful ladies you all!! :goodvibes

Hi everyone! I am sitting by SAB with a piña colada in hand! I have some live food updates on a dining thread so if you see those and see that I say I was drinking a strawberry daiquiri, well ya I was LOL! Anyway, we love our resort. Our room is perfect. We are in a GV, 4th floor with 2 queens and a day bed and a full balcony! Our view is awesome and we can see the lake and boardwalk off to the side. The weather has been spotty but it's Disney so we are having fun anyway! :-)

Lacey .... :wave2: A pina colada and strawberry daiquiri ... now I know you are enjoying your vacation ...:goodvibes And I did go over and find the dining review ... you know I've always thought about LTT and hearing your glowing review makes me definitely want to try it next time! Happy that you got a great room at BC. Have fun!

:goodvibes Katie reminded us all this morning...42 days!!!! Maddie was like yay 42 days until WL, I reminded her Pop, she was like, I forgot, OK POP :thumbsup2

Then the Fantasyland Preview AP dates are out....so I attempted to add on dates...no such luck, airfare is insane :guilty:

Hmmm.... didn't I tell you to go with December my friend?? :upsidedow

Nah, he's #3...janet is #1 :rotfl: Is that horrible ;)

Wow ... I'm no #1!! :cheer2: Thanks Pas and... love you  P.S. you're no 1 in my book too

Jen...We've stayed at Music and POP for the values ... and much prefer POP ... shocker huh? :goodvibes Seriously POP is not for everyone, but it is a fun resort, great theming, great food court, prefer the layout over the allstars, busing is for the most part, spot on :thumbsup2 and now there is Aoa across the bridge to explore too. :thumbsup2 Pop combines a great value with a lot of fun. :hippie:

Kook did make a good suggestion for either swan/dolphin, being close to two parks is nice, and you may want to visit Epcot more often for the dining experiences, since you will be without the kids. Keep in mind that you cannot get ME or the dining plan if those are important to you.

Melissa you mentioned bad experiences at the Allstars with large groups...yes values do have them at certain times of the year... in all our POP (and one Music) stay, we have been fortunate to not have that experience. (FYI I do believe the Allstars get more of tour groups than POP, with mods even getting some as well.).

Yes, PM me the link ... would love to see the band .. and it would be amazing if you get a chance to go in December with the band!!

Hi to all!!

JanetB: thanks for the vote....I have been intrigued by Pop ever since discovering your great FAQ thread!:thumbsup2. I am just waiting on AirTran to release May dates...I have a nice little credit that is itching to be used up! Any suggestions on nice locations at Pop? Is the 50's building a good one facing the lake?

:wave2: I am home, laundry done, refrigerator restocked, just trying to catch up on life having been gone for 2 weeks. My current challenge is trying to prepare for a presentation tomorrow night and to prepare for a class I am co-teaching on Saturday. I am actively involved in USA Swimming, my daughter's both swam and I am still volunteering as a official at meets. I am on the NJ Swimming Official's Committee and the fall is a busy time for us, teaching classes, setting regulations etc.

Jenny, great photo! Wish I was back at the BC with you ladies and your lovely families! :grouphug:

pas, Happy Belated Birthday to Brian! party::bday:party:

Grumpy, great job on the walk! You should be so proud of yourself. Glad you were able to escape to Lake Tahoe, my DD who lives in Palo Alto says it is sooo hot there. I think it's probably worse in Sacramento!

Mousemommy, congrats on your DD's first acting role :cheer2:

KOOK, got an email from IPO at the WL today :goodvibes I will need to get your thoughts on a good room request!

I know I have missed a lot of people. Sorry. To everyone I missed :wave2: and :grouphug:
