We would like to give Olivia's a try for breakfast. We've never eaten there, and the girls are good breakfast eaters. Judging by the lack of a crowd in your pictures, I'm guessing we could get a walk-up fairly easily one morning. Do you know if that is the case?

Sorry for last day sadness. I would have had tears, too.
I hope there will be more girl trips for you in the future.

I love, love, love the pictures of you and the girls in front of SSE, with the flowers and the girls in purple it turned out to be the perfect pictures.

I hate departure day, but it did look like y'all made the best of your last evening together, I love going to DTD on the last evening.

I can't wait for Mackenzie's and my trip next year with maroo and poolrat. We'll just hvTe to vicariously live through your trip in Sept. until we get to go on ours.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Is Right! I can't believe your trip is over! Your last pictures are the resort are so beautiful. What a fabulous trip and I have to say that traveling in January looks so fabulous. I hope to do it again one of these years.

I got choked up reading your last update! It's so hard to say goodbye to friends who live so far away. Pretty cool, though, that you ended up on the same ME bus. Your really planned your flights well.

Looking forward to your next TR and I am looking forward to meeting Mary and the girls in October!

Oh no, your trip is over! I love waiting for a trip to get here, counting down the weeks and months, but then when it is here, it's over like THAT!

Glad you liked OKW again, it looks really pretty, I might have to rent points there someday!

It must have been really hard to say goodbye to Mary and the girls, hopefully you can tag along with them for another girls trip!

Did I read correctly...you are NOT doing a PTR for September??? I hope you reconsider! I know September is far away, and sometimes when you start PTR's too early, you run out of things to talk about, maybe start it when the trip is like, 3 months away? I think that is what I'm going to do for my November trip, no more 6 month long PTR's!

Aw Kathy I know how you felt.

I don't like that video either. The bus driver told us when we were going by the "sign" & said "say goodbye". Well the tears started coming down. I tried to keep it controlled but it was hard!! With no future trip planned it was worse.

The time goes waaay too fast when we are there. It looks like you had a great time & made some great memories.

And......Happy Anniversary (a day late). DH & I are celebrating 27 years on Friday. We are both taking the day off.

I enjoyed your TR & look forward to the next one.

Please don't apologize. You do not have to have an ADR for breakfast...pretty much a walk-in (dinner is a little different).

I guess a couple of new items on my "dining" list. Coral Reef and the Chocolate Wave! If Kathy recommends it must be good!!! After all, she got me to try the Chocolate Whiskey Cake at Le Cellier! And next time at DTD and need something quick, sounds like WPE is the place to go!

I agree.......those trips always take forever to arrive, and are done in an instant! Final days and goodbyes are never a good thing!!!

Your SSR pictures are so pretty. It really is a very pretty resort. Nothing like what real Saratoga Springs looks like, but I suppose that's beside the point. My cousin went to college in Saratoga, so I've been there a few times. I really enjoyed my stay there and have to say I would consider staying at either SSR or OKW any time in the future.

Glad you tried WPE! We haven't eaten there since Feb. 2011, as we haven't been back to DTD, but we loved it when we did.

And, again, let me just say how adorable the girls are. So happy for you all that you got to take this special trip. And thank you so much for sharing it all with us.
