She's Your Daughter!!!! A Girls Trip -- Last Day & Departure Day -- Pages 76 & 77

Girl, I hear ya on the flying thing....hate it!! Actually, I only hate it if there's turbulence, but I do get worked up before getting on!

I love the picture of you and the girls! It really sums up how excited they were doesn't it! I'm guessing Mary was excited to have you there too! I cannot wait to hear all about the rest of the trip!

I'm kind of like you when it comes to getting to the airport. It is going to be boring sitting there doing nothing, but I tend to feel a little bit relaxed once I'm finally through security and sitting at the gate waiting to leave. However, if I was looking to calm my nerves, I think I'd be looking for something other than Starbucks. :lmao:

I'm glad the flight was uneventful and your bag actually made it, despite lack of carry on space.

The picture of you with the girls is great. It looks like they were definitely pleasantly surprised.

Great posts ladies!

My plan had been to get up really early this morning so that I would be tired when I was on the plane and could nap. As most of you know, I hate flying with a passion.
You don't say? :lmao:

Although my flight was not until 2:25, at 11:45 I told him I needed to go to the airport even though it would only take 35 minutes or so because I was going crazy sitting at home getting nervous about the flight. I figured this way I could stop at Starbucks for another coffee, get something to nibble on the plane and try to calm my nerves.
I would of snuck in some nips. :rotfl::rotfl:

We took off about 2:35. And I have to say I was very calm on the plane. I had an aisle seat and watched A Dolphin's Tale and took a short nap. There was no turbulence, no one got up to use the restroom. It was as perfect a flight as I've ever had.
:worship: :worship:

Love the pic of you hugging the girls!

I'm working on uploading the pics from my camera. ;)

Mary, nice intro of your girls...they are little dare devils huh? ;)

Love the matching outfits too

Kathy glad your flight went well :goodvibes I will be flying alone for the first time in Oct for my girls weekend

Love that you surprised the girls and they were so happy to see you, wonderful picture

Glad your flight went swimmingly. :goodvibes I'm with on the hating flying thing, as you know. I would have wanted to leave early for the airport, too. I hate waiting around for things like that, day of. Its why I love to fly out early in the morning.

Those girls look so happy to be with you! It must have been a great moment for all involved.

One word- ::yes::

I know that you were nervous about flying alone so I was very happy to read that the flight went smoothly.

The picture of you and the girls is simply adorable! You can tell from all of your smiles that they were indeed surprised.

Yay for a smooth flight! I have never flown alone and will be this time, though I am not really nervous. I might be by the end of the week though. The girls looked thrilled to see you, what a great surprise for them!

too funny Kathy! That much coffee (and I'm a coffee fiend as you know) would not calm my nerves, it'd ramp me up. I'm so happy it went so well and I love love love the girls reactions! That is a priceless picture.

Mary, the girls are too cute for words! If you every are in need of a babysitter just holler, I would love to hang with the kids :lovestruc

And to the BBS (blond bomb shell), I am glad you had a great flight but I hated that you felt sick!

I understand the antsy anticipation feeling when leaving for a trip, that is why I drive Todd nuts with "can we go, are you ready, how bout now, ready to go now, THATS IT I'M LEAVING WITH OUT YOU!" mantra that I lay on him every single time! (Picture me stamping my foot as I say it and hop around like an impatient child)

The picture of you suprising the girls is priceless and thanks to Mary for quick picture taking so we could experience the moment!

Molly and Tim, have you two ever noticed that you are ALWAYS hijacking my thread by going :offtopic: :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sorry!:blush::blush: Tim started it...:rolleyes1

My plan had been to get up really early this morning so that I would be tired when I was on the plane and could nap. As most of you know, I hate flying with a passion. And this was the FIRST time I was flying alone in over 32 years. :scared1:

I'm in awe of you Kathy.:worship: I hate to fly but to do it alone?? Good for you!

However, I went to bed the night before feeling another darn cold coming on. And sure enough, I woke up Thursday morning with a runny nose and feeling run down. I took my shower and drove to Starbucks and got my cappucinos (yes, I got 2) and some orange juice. I brought it home and paid some bills online while drinking my juice, popping pills, gargling with salt water, etc. I was determined I was going to fight this thing and NOT be sick for my trip.

Ack! No sickness allowed!! Did the magical elixir of Starbucks erase that cold for you? Either that or all the pill popping you were doing.

I'm the opposite...I try to drag out every last possible minute at home and then secretly hope my flight will be cancelled. Yay for another Starbucks though! What's that make, like ten now??;)

We took off about 2:35. And I have to say I was very calm on the plane. I had an aisle seat and watched A Dolphin's Tale and took a short nap. There was no turbulence, no one got up to use the restroom. It was as perfect a flight as I've ever had.

Yay! A perfect flight, you can't ask for anything better. How was the movie? It looks really cute but we've yet to see it.:goodvibes

I landed actually a few minutes early and texted Mary that I had landed. They had just landed too (they were a few minutes late). I asked if we were still meeting in the food court. She told me she was by the Disney Store and I said I would walk over there. Well, we forgot there were TWO Disney Stores at the airport and Mary was by the one by the Starbucks. So I walked over there to meet her and the girls.

It was a sign...

I saw Mary and the girls were talking to her. So as I slowly approached, I bent down a little and said "I hear there is a girls' trip going on and I want to go too." And this is the reaction I got at the airport:

Oh my, too stinking precious! Look how happy they are to see you! What a fun surprise.:goodvibes And you look fabulous Kat, I love your hair cut.:goodvibes

Up next, Mary's travel day and our ME experience and check in at the resort.

Looking forward to it. Mary, loved the intro, your girls are really adorable!:goodvibes

And then you throw Mols in the mix........ :scared1:

Oh please, I'd be a calming influence on them. Um hmm.

I will come back later to do individual responses.

In the meantime, Tim and Molly....behave yourself.

Busy morning at work and having a little celebration in honor of my five-year cancer free anniversary day.

Hmmm on the babysitting-our trips do overlap in Oct-:) totally kidding. We do need to meet up though!!

Mary's Travel Day

Before I start let me say that I had some difficulty witht he picture taking this time around. I felt like the flash washed things out but no flash created blurriness. Maybe MEK can give me some tips...So you get some of each LOL

Unlike Ms Kathy, the girls and I love to fly. And the more bumps the better :) I am not a fan of getting to the airport early but Hubby had to get to work so off we went. First stop was Starbucks-an airport tradition

Avery had hot chocolate, Cayley a smoothie. We then made our way through security and to our gate. Girls pulled out their "electronics"

WDWJan12010.jpg

Right before boarding we went and grabbed some lunch from CPK. The flight was a little delayed and then we had to wait in line to take off. The flight itself was uneventful. My sweet Hubby got me a Kindle Fire and I watched "The Devil Wears Prada" and read. Cayley watched 2 movies. Avery watched one movie and played on her DS.

We landed a little late but still before Ms Kathy. We made our way to the fake monorail

WDWJan12016.jpg

We then had a "photo shoot" while we waited. They still had no clue at that point.

We then waited by the Disney Store-after figuring out there was more than one :rolleyes1

I was talking to the girls trying to keep them occupied while Ms Kathy made her move. They were both really shocked. And happy. I am trying to remember the cute thing Cay said when we were getting Kathy's luggage. Soon we were off to ME :)
