She's Your Daughter!!!! A Girls Trip -- Last Day & Departure Day -- Pages 76 & 77

Lost on safari??? What is this drink that everyone is talking about? I think I must get one. AND...is it the white one? YUM!!!

Love all the pics of the girls... Looks like they had fun at RPW.

Lost on Safari??? :drinking1 YUM

I think I'll try that one next time

I like Rafiki's in the morning to see if there are any vet procedures going on.

I think Avery wants to do that next time

Tree of life is so amazing. Uh Oh about EPCOT.

I'd never seen that part of the tree.

All work and no play......

popcorn:: Ohhhh a mystery.... Remember I DO have your number. I may not be able to wait to find out!!! I have no patience when it comes to mysteries.

Please do tell if you find out, Pat.

I think this is the infamous Lost on Safari, unless they opted for the Harambe Cooler which is actually the upscale version because it contains African rum instead of spirits distilled in the USA.

I'm pretty sure they had the Lost on Safari.

Yum - Kathy - Is this food or dung? :rotfl:

Hmmmm...I don't remember. ;)

Great TOL pictures. You got some great animal close ups.

Fun update!

Thanks.

That is definitely on my list for May! I have wondered by the bar so many times and have been dying to try the Safari Sunset I think it's called but now that pina colada you described just might have my name on it:lmao:

Queen, I can't believe we had never stopped there before. :confused3

That pina colada was yummy.

Yum, your adult beverages look so good! Did you have a Pina Colava? I've heard such great things about that drink! I'm fully intending to have a drink the second I step on to Disney property in May, either a margarita or a Pina Colava!

The Tree of Life looks so amazing, I never go close enough to it to see the carvings!

I hope Epcot was a good choice!

Jen, it wasn't called a Pina Colava, but it was a Pina Colada with strawberry or raspberry (it's so long go, I forgot). You really o[ught to go see the other part of Tree of Life...very cool.

Oh I have had a Lost On Safari drink. Soooo good!!!:thumbsup2 I will probably have another one in about 25 days!!

I hope Epcot was a good choice!!

So jealous...have one for me.

great photos of Rafikis, we haven't been over there since megan was 5, think we need to revisit it next trip!

hope the night at Epcot was fun....

I hadn't been to Rafiki since the boys were probably 8 and 10 years old; it was fun.

I am going to have to find that bar in AK! I love a good Pina Colada! Sounds like y'all had fun finishing up the day at AK.

I sure hope choosing Epcot was a good choice!

I don't want to give it away, but mini golf may have been a better choice.

You must have the Lost on Safari; Mary and Heather certainly enjoyed theirs (it is the red one).

They had a great time at RPW.

Three weeks from today I'll be at DTD having dinner at Raglan Road (surprise for Mark for taking me on his business trip with him). :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

An update will be coming up in the next couple of hours. I have to take a shower (cut the lawn in front and cleaned the entire house) and then I have to make dinner for Andy and me.

Yum, that pina colada looks so very tasty. It gets so hot at the Animal Kingdom all the time, I bet it's perfect when it's warm out!

Uh oh. I hope your decision to go to Epcot was a good one.

Did anyone notice I have a new ticker????? I don't have a resort yet. But I have a rental car and ADR's, so I figured a ticker was in order.

I did notice that...Hmmmmmm. I thought they were skipping this year. I also think I read you are now going down with Mark? I thought he was going alone. I love your style!!!!!:thumbsup2

It was so tasty I could go for one now. You are right...that place is always hot.

You thought who was skipping a year? Mark and I? I have to say you have me confused. Mark and I were always going together; I just get an added "girls" trip now. We'll be there next month on a business trip--no parks, just DTD.

I don't know how the afternoon will turn out, but I'd pick Epcot over miniature golf any time.

Sounds like a fun time at the Animal Kingdom!

Please do tell if you find out, Pat.

I think someone may have his light on. :tiptoe:

I must have been seeing things. :confused3 DIS is slow tonight so maybe he had a big day and was too tired. :lmao:

I guess I thought Marks business trip was just him going..and I thought the plan was to skip this year to be able to do a cruise next year...but I know the cruise is out now.

So we left the AK and walked to the buses to get a bus to Epcot. We gave up the idea of mini golf because the girls wanted to stay together and Heather and her girls had to meet her husband (he had been golfing all day).

We waited quite a while for a bus...I want to say it was 40 minutes. The first one filled up fast and they sent a second one right away for us.

We arrived at Epcot and it was a mob scene. No fastpasses for Soarin', Test Track...there were people everywhere.

So while we were waiting for Heather's husband to arrive, we did a few attractions. First up, was:

I rode by myself:

From there, it was over to Club Cool to try some soda flavors:

Then it was off to Journey Into Imagination. Or as Cayley calls it, the "Smelly Ride"

We headed over to World Showcase to find something to eat. We were going to get Fish & Chips but the line was insane. We ended up at Liberty Inn in America. I took no pictures of our food, but everyone had either burgers, chicken fingers and I think I had the pulled pork (which was VERY good).

Cayley decided to play "the help" and cleaned the tables for all of us:

Afterwards, I was still hungry and got some popcorn and the kids enjoyed sharing with me.

It was getting late and it was so crowded that we decided to just call it a night. A couple of pictures of the girls as we are exiting the parks:

So that wraps up Day 2. Up next, Day 3 and our morning at the Studios.

I don't know how the afternoon will turn out, but I'd pick Epcot over miniature golf any time.

Sounds like a fun time at the Animal Kingdom!

Well the update is up and Epcot was not a good choice; but we still ahd fun.

I think someone may have his light on. :tiptoe:

Let's see if he reads my upates or lets us know what is going on.

I guess I thought Marks business trip was just him going..and I thought the plan was to skip this year to be able to do a cruise next year...but I know the cruise is out now.

Usually the business trip is just him. But I've kind of wiggled in on the Florida one so I can see Nicki more than once a year. No, we were never cutting out our trip this year, just forgetting about the cruise in 2013 and spending a week at AKL Kidani instead. :)

Let's see if he reads my upates or lets us know what is going on.

He is just very busy - Drew is in the middle of soccer season and work is really busy. This weekend was shot between prep for company and a birthday in the house. Not his or any of the kids :rolleyes1

The server issue was a problem for me too tonight. :headache:

Sounds like epcot was pretty crowded. I am trying to picture you going from one side of world showcase (england) to the opposite side (america) ... you must have taken the ferry. My hubby and DD would never have made it around WS if they were really hungry!:lmao:

;) nice new ticker!

Even though Epcot was very busy, it sounds like y'all made the best of it! :thumbsup2

I think my favorite picture of you Ms. Kat was you with Tigger. :lovestruc You had your leg partly turned inward looking all cute and child like. I love how WDW does that to us. :lovestruc :goodvibes

One of the best pictures I saw recently was today on FB, someone posted the back of an older gentleman wearing his Mickey ears and waving at Mickey in the parade. :goodvibes :'O) LOOOOVED IT!

The girls looked like they were having a total blast being there together, it didn't matter y'all weren't riding the primo rides...they were together in Disney World, together. :dance3:

We finished our beverages and it was time to hit Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Also known as the World's Slowest Train Ride. :woohoo:

Waiting for the train:

...and waiting...and waiting...and waiting...

We arrived at Epcot and it was a mob scene. No fastpasses for Soarin', Test Track...there were people everywhere.

D'oh! Maybe you could play mini-golf in the U.K. pavilion.

From there, it was over to Club Cool to try some soda flavors:

Being experienced Disney travelers, did anyone fall for the Beverly?

Then it was off to Journey Into Imagination. Or as Cayley calls it, the "Smelly Ride"

They still had FP's for this one? :rotfl2:

A super long line for Fish & Chips! NOOOOOOoooooooooo!

At least you had Beverly readily available. :thumbsup2

Awesome Epcot update. Sorry it was crowded....it gets that way sometimes, especially on a saturday. The girls looked like they had a good afternoon, fun till the end!! :)

I think they add something to the food there at Disney, I call it pixie dust, Chris calls it crack!! LOL ALWAYS gotta get popcorn!

Great updates :) I don't know if I can handle the DIS anymore. It makes me want to go back so badly, and I have a feeling it will be a while before that happens :(

Love that the girls have just as much fun looking at the animals as they do on the rides. Makes things easy.
