I’m going to do a Pre-Trip Report and Convert it to the Trip Report as we go. This is going to be a place to document our engagement, honeymoon plans, and also to ask questions and get feedback for my plans.

First to introduce myself. My name is Tommy and I have been to Disney a few times in my life. Growing up my family did 2 official DW trips. Both times staying at what is known now as Port Orleans Riverside. Also we would stop at Downtown Disney every time we were in Orlando to take a flight down to the Bahamas to stay with my Grandfather (he managed a hotel down there for many years on the island of Exuma). I also went one time in high school with band. We got to march in a parade around Hollywood Studios and then spent the day there (yes a full day; and that was waaaay too long) before we drove down to Port Canaveral to take a 3 night cruise. I have always loved being at DisneyWorld and knew that is where I wanted to spend my honeymoon.

My Fiancée is named Magan and she is very picky about how people say her name and spell it. She is 6th grade science teacher and loves dealing with her kids daily, and boy does she have some great stories daily! She is a beautiful, kind young woman, who makes me a better person daily. We are both from the central Alabama area. She is a huge Alabama fan and I am a huge Auburn fan. Which if you know anything about college football; that is a huge stepping stone to go over down here. I knew we were going to be just fine when we went to the 2013 Iron Bowl together (you know only the greatest ending to any game ever; where we returned the missed field goal 109 yards) and we made it through just fine. Although she didn’t talk to me for about 2 hours after the game.
