Hi,

I'm new to these boards. This is my first post!

I'm a HUGE disney fan!! Been to WDW many times and I am planning our Honeymoon there - and on a budget. We are paying for this ourselves.

I think we might want to stay at the Sheraton Vistana Resort in Lake Buena Vista. Any reviews? Suggestions?

We won't stay in hotels because we both have traveled extensively and live in hotels, that's why we're looking into the Vistana resort- it's like a condo set up.

Does anyone know what the rates might be for a one bedroom in the month of March? Their rates only go out six months.

Any reviews or thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Welcome!! You are going to get a lot of information from these boards. Have fun!!
We have stayed at the vistana and the vistana villages. Both were amazing. Last Aug we stayed at the vistana villages. We got a 2 bedroom which we split with another family. There were 8 of us and have plenty of room. There are two complete bedrooms, 1 with a jacuzzi. 2 bathrooms 1 full kitchen, 1 smaller kitchen, 2 dinning rooms. We could of got lost. We did the timeshare thing. 90 minute talk and movie, breakfast was included. After the 90 minute tour we also had our choice of 2 theme park tickets. We paid(are you ready?) $110. per night. That was only $55 per night per family. Plus the 2 tickets which retail about $100. We stayed there for 4 nights than switched in disney property.
Lot around for a deal and you will love this resort.
It didn't take much longer to get to the parks than staying at the port orleans. A couple of minutes more, no big deal.
Any question, let me know

Oh my gosh - $110!!

I know my fiance would be very aggravated to have to go to that 90 minute presentation though.

Are they all timeshares? Do you have to go to the presentation to stay there, or was that just because you went thru someone? I'm confused about how all that works. If I call the reservations desk and make a reservation - do I have to listen to the 90 minute timeshare speech?

It looks like it's a great resort. Something like that on Disney property is probably $250/night.

Hi, Daisy:

I happen to be on my laptop at the Vistana Resort right now!

Why? No matter what park we go to my son wants to run back! This place is AWESOME!

I got my week from an owner on www.tug2.net classified ads. He got Interval to mail me a guest certificate and it's been great. We got 7 days for $600, NO timeshare presentation required.

There's a running thread on it on my board, the Orlando Hotels and Attractions Board, CLICK HERE.

Hi Robinrs!!

How cool is that! Do you have a digital camera? If you do, could you take some pics of the place?

Ok, how do I get in touch with the owner you are using? I need to get in touch with that person!! How many bedrooms do you have? $600 is great for 7 days!! And no timeshare presentation!! WHO DO I CALL????

Your help would be MUCH appreciated!! You're lucky - you're in WDW!!!
